Nothing like the les paul Benton i bought a couple of months ago...
I bought it for the child to practice but playing guitar my self i have to say that it s very poor attempt.
The les paul one,was a five star guitar that with a few mods can be up to the sky.
This is so poor...the shape of it first of all is so weird...ok,not the trademark horns,but i can accept that,it s the trademark of the expensive american guitar...but the body of the guitar is really smalll and curvy at the bottom. It s really weird,not beautiful weird...The placement of the knobs is messed up...one looking at the sky,one at the north ,one at ths south...It like they are beaten with a hammer and all have a different balance...
Most of the chords are making a noise,touching places that they re not supposed to touch.Well this can be done with ome adjustment,i mean now ,the out of the box condition. The sound is a bit grey and fussy....can play crystal clear,cant have a nice fuzz sound either...The les paul Harley Benton was even tuned right out of the box and was solid,well detailed,shape great almost like the original...
This SG model is really dissapointing to me...The kid seemed to like it though so i didnt turn it back,but soon i ll try the epiphone SG for him.This one,excuse me Thoman,but it s like a toy
