Multi-effects in floorboard format

The Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro is a professional multi-effects processor that boasts numerous virtual amps and cabs, a whole bunch of high-quality effects, full MIDI compatibility, and flexible connection options. This versatile floorboard modeller can be used in a wide range of settings, from the living room and rehearsal room to the studio and the stage. Users are provided with a selection of over 50 amp models, more than 40 top-quality effects, and 31 IR cab sims, which can be easily configured and stored as patches in up to 200 memory slots using the intuitive colour display at the centre of the user interface. Inside its robust aluminium housing, the DNAfx GiT Pro also includes a looper and a drum machine, which are ideal for spontaneous practice and jamming sessions, in addition to which the integrated USB port allows it to be used as a recording interface on a Mac or PC.

Full control in full colour

The Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro offers no fewer than 51 amp models, which include authentic reproductions of a wide range of iconic Rock amplifiers – from the warm, clean sound of Californian vintage amps and the full, raunchy overdrive of British Rock amps through to the renowned modern American high-gain amps. These can be combined with 31 cab simulations and an even larger number of studio-quality effects, such as compressor, EQ, wah, distortion, reverb, delay, and many more. The bright 5" colour display and the five controllers located directly below allow users to easily create and organise their patches, control the built-in looper, and visually check the tuning of their instrument with the help of the integrated tuner.

Extensive connectivity

The Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro makes an equally convincing case on the outside thanks to its numerous connections, which will also meet the demanding requirements of professional users. For outgoing signals, users can choose from stereo jack outputs, balanced XLR outputs, or a USB port that allows the DNAfx GiT Pro to be connected directly to a computer in order to access further convenient functions, e. g. the loading of additional IRs or the editing of presets using an editor software programme. Of course, the Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro features both a MIDI interface and an AMP CTRL output for integrating an amplifier into the setup. This is perfectly complemented by an AUX input, an FX loop that can be placed in any position in the signal chain, and a headphone jack for undisturbed playing pleasure.

Multi-effects workstation

Its numerous high-quality amp models and cab simulations, wide range of professional effects, and easy-to-use colour display make the Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro the perfect all-rounder for the living room, rehearsal room, studio, and on stage. Thanks to its multi-faceted sonic palette, looper functions, drum machine, robust build, and extensive connectivity, the DNAfx GiT Pro floorboard modeller is eminently suited to a wide variety of applications. And since the Harley Benton brand is renowned for its extremely affordable products, the DNAfx GiT Pro also offers beginners an excellent opportunity to try their hand at multi-effects for the first time without spending a fortune.

A lot of fun as my first Multi FX peda
Ermini 10.07.2023
Got this unit for a few months now, and i'm very pleased with it. Make sure you install the update which is provided on the website. A lot of preset and a lot of custom options. Also make sure to calibrate foot pedal!

Only minus that i can think of is that when running the unit as an audio interface, there is no option to shut off the direct monitoring. (or at least not that i know of).

Overall i would recommend this unit if you dont know what sounds you like and are not ready splurge a whole lot of money on different amps. This unit provides you with the F, V, and M amp sounds to get familiar with. I mostly play clean which this unit does beautifully imo. But this unit persuaded me to also try some more gritty sounds.

I had LOADS Of Amp-Sim Pedals (POD MK 1....Mk 2...Mk3 (The Black One) and other EXPENSIVE Ones......The Pods eventually ended up as basically FX RACKS.(Before they BROKE-...I hate pedals & the mess that comes with them....MY AMPS And Multi Cabs re better then ANYTHING I that pod department. Then Along comes the DNA PRO!!!!! I use it as a stereo FX/Amp/Cab MODIFIER between My TWO main amps....(Vox AC30 Custom and a Fender Customshop 2x10 15 watt Vaperiozer. The set up is GREAT......Dial In The sound you want.Save it.Name It and stick into an empty Memory slot....That simple....And you can make INCREDIBLE Sconce Fiction Sounds....Or Flamingo sounds a fast as my description above (about programming) As soon as you figure out "How It Works" Setting up for GREAT EVERYTHING Is a Piece of CAKE......And once youre set up NOTHING CHANGES.....And if you have the misfortune of gatting stuck with some Newbie with a JCM 100 and a 2021 LP who is HELL BENT UPON SHOWING HOW LOUD HE IS.....Because YOU have Calibrated tou're rig with the "Master" (on the DNA) on 3 and you're amps on 8......All you gotta do is "wind 'er up to SEVEN......Stomp "Compressor" and it's GOOBUY JCM100 & Newbie.......I LOVE THIS THING!!!!! Oh and the case is all Alloy......Fireproof......

Awesome all-in-one tool.
Jakub W. S. 20.07.2022
Your can play anything using this one. No doubts. If somebody will say 'I can't get a good sound' he's lying.

When I use it as modeller I need nothing else. As with all units like this one hour need some time before you will do all without thinking.
But I have ordered it having on mind using as smallest footprint pedalboard for real tube amp having 4CM running. As a "cover-guy" I can save all songs settings on huge memory of unit. One thing I don't like is amp control. It is impossible to save channel of your amp for a preset. You have to touch ftsw for active preset and then clock again to change channel. That makes impossible to change presets in-song. Like. f.ex. preset A for clean + mod for a verse and presets B for gain channel, no mod, lots of delay for chorus in song. Amp wilk remain on channel chosen on preset A. Which basically makes it useless, just grab ftsw delivered with your amp.

Please make it possible to choose: Amp control global or Amp control by patch.

A
Great For The Price!
AliasYureiOtaku 23.01.2022
I had my expectations pretty standard considering this is on the cheaper side of modelers, but I like the Harley Benton brand and wanted something physical to mess with instead of plugins all the time. This outperformed my expectations, now don't think it's perfect out of the box, it took me about 4 hours to figure out everything to get a good sound. But now with that knowledge I can get a good sound pretty easily for any genre. Alot of the onboard cabs are pretty good, and you can load IRs into the product as well. Overall, great product I think. Only downfall for me personally is not being able to how more than 1 of the same type of effect, which I hope they might be able to add in a future update. But overall I think it's worth what I paid.
