Needs some tweak after purchase

First of all you get a nice looking violin for a really good price. However, due to its price you can't expect everything to be good.
As a pro, here is some advice I would suggest you do if you decide to keep the violin after purchase.

1. Buy a new tailpiece.
The one that comes with the violin is really cheap and the fine tuners do not always work good. Models (all black) like Otto Musica TP-244 or the Wittner tailpiece will look and work better. (See youtube on how to... and put a clothe under so it doesn't touch the violin when you install it)

2. A new bow
If you feel it's not a good one (not elastic enough), you can even go with the cheap Artino special edition (4/4 of course).

3. Strings
The strings will not be good ones even if they can make sound. They can change pitch if pushed too much. You can go with the Tonica's or Chromcor.

So, consider adding around 50?/£ if you want the violin to sound and look at its best, still being on a cheap budget.

Decent for learning

Sound is amazing for the price. The bow that comes with it does it's job, but I would suggest an upgrade. The build quality leaves much to be desired, but again, for the price is very good. If you want a violin, but don't know if you're going to be doing it for long, I suggest this one as a sample.

Bought this violin about a year ago, I must say that I'm very happy with the purchase.

It is very good value for the money, nice build, fine details, the paint is very nice, and almost a year later is like new.

The sound when plugged to an amp is very good, not the best sound in the world, but very good.
If you pretend to use it as an acoustic violin, you will like the sound even more, very like a normal acoustic violin.

For me the main con is the volume switch if we move it with the violin plugged into an amp, it makes a horrible sound, like scratches. Ok not very pro, but for the money, I don't care.

Great value ..very cheap...i bought this 2 months ago..sounds great...i m very happy because thomann well cared the order and issued a refund too.because when traveling violin had damaged.they has good customer service..
