This was my Harley number ……. More than 10…. I lost track.
Some of them I sent back, some i sold, some i used for present and some i still have.
This one, however, is acreally great guitar. Not only are specifications way beyond all other brands within its price range ( with one extraordinary exception ) but this time the designer and the indonesian crew managed to build in a lot of playability in terms of sound, ergonomics, weight and of cause the feel of the instrument as a whole.
This particular guitar was absolutely flawless in the cosmetic sense. It is nicely built, nothing to take away the joy of a new instrument.

But….. ( i hate to use the word “but” in a review ) the output jack on the guitar could not hold the cable, no click and… no sound.

This is a very easy fix either by adjusting the pins on the output jack or spend 3 minutes installing a new one. I asked Thomann to send me another jack but received a return label for the whole guitar…. When Thomann does something - its all in !!
Experience has told me to keed the good stuff and return the loosers, so now i will use a jack from my spare parts drawer…. No big deal.

Anyway…. Now the beauty serves me well, the VR2 pickups has a lower output than the Opus one used in the SC ver. 2 but the guitar still has this typical LP nasal sound with the clarity too.

Using only 3 pots is a step forward from the 4 on other SC models but why not settle for 2 ?? This would probably free a little bit of production costs to install 2 pots for individual splitting ( preferably push push pots ) which will increase the tonal possibilities much more than 2 tone pots.

Anyway… imho this is the best Harley LP wannabe so far and you should not hesitatate to order it. At least my 47 years of playing tell me that this is an amazing deal….

I have seen many youtube videos about the HB guitar family and I have always wanted to give them a try. Initially pulled in by their cyber deal on the daphene blue, I saw this beautiful color and decided to make the purchase. For 335 USD, this is a steal. The overall quality and build are on par with higher-priced guitars (think 700 and up group). I did make some slight adjustments, lowered the action, small bow in the neck that required a quarter-turn of the truss rod and she is now perfect for me. Will mostly play rock/blues/hard rock on it but, you can make it metal with the right amp/pedals or plugins on your DAW. I will probably replace the gotoh tuners with locking ones but otherwise will keep it as is. Buy it, you will most likely enjoy the heck out of it. And its a great modding platform. Cheers

This is the best I can find for anywhere near the price

The specs and colour drew me to this guitar, I had to pull the trigger and am delighted I did!
It looks and plays brilliantly straight out of the box, buying this is really a no brainer.
I recommend you also check online as there are the loads of well deserved positive reviews, their not wrong!
