Amazing for the price...
Jazzy Jill 13.04.2019
I would like to congratulate Thomann with this small guitar, and offering it as such an amazing budget instrument to their customers!

Being a professional bass player for the past 20 years, guitar is not my on-stage instrument... the bass is. However I have been teaching guitar for many years too, and I would happily recommend this instrument to any of my students, young and old! Here's why:

It plays really easily, especially it being a short scale instrument (those barr-chords are a true breeze on it!), you can make incredibly strong bends with ease, and it sounds good on top of all of that!

One of the most remarkable things of it (and I was a little scared of this before it arriving, as I've had bad experiences with other short scale guitars), is that it JUST STAYS IN TUNE no matter what. As said, that is very rare on these kinds of short scale instruments. I checked out some things on youtube before making the order, and I must say that the guy in the video is not exagerating... I tuned it up after it arrived, played many bends etc. since, the guitar has been standing around here now for 3 days, and it is STILL perfectly in tune... How cool is that!?

For the money you would spend on dinner for 2, I would say it is an unbelievably good instrument for those considering a short scale to add to their arsenal... being it for the kids, or for the grown ups that would like it for easy practicing (you can even noodle around with it in your sofa, as it is so small, plus it plays super easily on those more difficult chords and grips) ... Definately has my support!

Ps: here's the video of the guy that convinced me to buy this cute but mean machine, check it out to see what I mean :)

Great value for money!
Jazzedout 23.04.2020
I got this for my 6 year old son to learn how to play.
I don't remember having such a good guitar for less than 200€ when I was young.
He is having a lot of fun with it and it is light enough to wear with a strap.
Easily playable out of the box, even better with a simple setup (lowered the string height and adjusted intontation).
Notes ring out nicely with a light touch which is great for a young kid.
For such a price it is perfect!! I relly wonder how they do it for the price point!!
If this was at 200€ I would rate it as follows:
PROS:
- Great feeling satin neck.
- Frets seem nicely leveled, notes do not fret out even with long bends (which are very easy on the short scale). This is with lowered action...
- Pickups have enough power, pots have a nice feel to them.

CONS:
- A little overspray from the clearcoat on the top of the headtock, easily removed with buffing compound.
- Fret ends could use some more sanding to feel smoother to the touch. Especially since this is for childern. I will probably do this myself at the next string change.
- Tuners have some play in their feel, but hold tunning nicely.

Its cheap but it is good
SG75 04.01.2021
I bought this guitar for my 8 year old daughter.
The quality was surprisingly good, better than expected. The fretboard color is kind of purple, not dark brown as on the pictures - but my daughter likes it very much, so I have no problem with it. It was also quite dry, but some lemon oil helped.
After a basic setup and fine tuning - intonation, lowering the sting height, lubing the nut - It played quite nicely. The tuners are cheap, but they work. I changed two things: the string trees to GraphTech, and the strings.
So with a little work, it can be a realy great little guitar

It sounds quite good, the neck feels nice. Had no big problems with the frets - they seem to be leveled. The fret ends are not bad either (better then on a Squire Mini I tried before), but they will need some work, and polishing the frets will

Nice piece
jplpbranco70 04.04.2020
I bought this guitar to teach my 8 years old daughter at home. It's a short scale guitar, you will always get some issues in tuning if you bend a lot or play hard. The frets scratch the fingers a little bit in the extremities, but I believe they'll get smooth with time playing. It's a 59€ piece, you cannot expecte too much from the pick ups. I like the wood and hardware, maybe the plastic of the knobs could be better, but no big deal. It's a short guitar, I love to play it unplugged sitting in the couch. I'm satisfied overhaull, it's a good purchase for that money
