Nice but heavy
The quality (for the price) is there. If you're looking for a Tele type guitar with vintage looks BUT a relatively flat and definitely non-vintage radius fingerboard, you could do a lot worse in the value-for-money and good-looks department. There is nothing to complain about the pickups and the chrome hardware (string through body bridge).
But the guitar I received is HEAVY. Heavier than any bass or even Les Paul type guitar that I currently own. So heavy that it hurts my thigh even when playing sitting down (actual weight is 4,9 kilos!). Coupled with the nagging issue of a few high frets which I'm tired of having to fix on so many of the guitars I received lately, I am having to force myself to play this guitar on a regular basis.
I would recommend that you take a gamble on the cheaper TE-20 (which is just as heavy--I know because I bought that one, too) instead. It's basically the same guitar with a darker Rosewood type fretboard minus the clear finish and string-through-body bridge. No name pickups sound about the same. This way, if yours turns out to be another heavy guitar, you won't mind because you paid only a little over half the price of this one for it.
Real men won't mind either way.
