I've waited for so long to get my hand on this unite, love the sound and the warmth of the machine. the compressor is super fast and the blend feature is great for modern music! the knobs are awesome.
heritage is great!

Must say that Thomann service was very very poor this time, make me think if to buy from them again.

hard to pinpoint what it is about this unit but it is "on" always better then "off" AND you can compress the track to make it stand in the mix like it should, like more units do that but This one just makes me smile more. it adds rock i would say. I had an elysia (old series), fantastic, more precise, usable in every setting from to little to too much but it was too much of "just" a working tool where as this one adds the oempf while keeping the depth. Makes it sound another few percent more like i want it

Verwendung:
- Auf dem MixBus für Glue und leichte Färbung durch die Übertrager
- Drum Bus für Punch oder leveling (fast schon 1176 mäßig bei Attack von 50microsekunden, jedoch kein so schneller release weil Diodenbücke)
- Parrallelkompression von Drums, Bass, im Multi Bus (entweder duch Send oder durch Mix Regler beim Kompressor)
- beim Mastering für Färbung und leichte Kompression

Der Sidechain Filter ist der hammer! LowCut ist ja fast schon standard aber die Bell-FIlter bei 800 und 3khz sind super um Snares oder Gitarren gezielt zu komprimieren.

Negatives habe ich nicht gefunden.
Die Drehregler fühlen sich beim drehen leicht matschig an im Vergleich zum Tegeler "Creme", sind aber gut gerastert.

Fazit:
Gute Verarbeitung, sehr guter Sound, sehr gut zu Recallen, praktischer SideChain Filter und sieht auch noch gut aus! Sehr vielseitig von 1176 limiting über SSl Bus Comp Punch bis subtil Neve 33609 ähnlicher Verdichtung, dazu ein sehr runder Sound. Kann kein Plugin!!
