Great all rounder amp.
I have the grandmeister deluxe 40 and use it for live gigs regularly. It covers a lot of ground and can handle a lot of music styles. The clean channel is excellent with great sparkle and very twangy. The lead channel with the proper speakers sounds awesome. Bare in mind that with some speakers the sound is toppy and very bright same as the crunch channel.
The more you raise the volume the better it sounds and more organic.
It's not the best sounding amp but for its size, weight and features there is no competitor.

A first choice for a 1000? budget
Very good all tube amp with an affordable price.
Great tone, with 4 channels.
It has also an fx processor incorporated with chorus, flanger, phaser e tremolo. Delays and reverb too. Those fx won't be my first choice eventually, but their quality doesn't compromise at all the overall quality of the product.
I can use it at home, studio, rehearsals and live with all the features.
40W max power, for me is more than enough. You can also work with 20, 5, 1 and 0W for recording with all the tone.

Hughes&Kettner GrandMeister Deluxe 40
Amplifier in use year. Compact, light enough for regular shipments. Beautiful backlight. By the way, if you make a multi-colored backlight, it would look even more interesting. Oriented to modern sound, the reverb sounds pretty good. I realized that I really like the sound of the marshal, especially the purely analog one. Apparently, digital processing did not even reach the level where it is impossible to distinguish analog sound from digital audio. For blues-rock, you need an There is a large circuit with large and correct transformers. Maybe it?s all about small transformers and output Chinese EL84 lamps. But the problem is most likely in a digital signal. By the way, on a clean channel, the sound is pleasant. 40 "horses" under the hood for the rehearsal room create a powerful sound with a margin for all that your fiery soul eager to say.
In general, the amplifier is functional, silent mode is useful for recording at night. All creative success! :)
