Pleasantly surprised

So, I wanted a ST style guitar.
Thought I would chance my arm and try the Ibanez. I was REALLY nervous about the build quality - even at the €1500 price tag some of the reviews weren't great. I was tempted to cancel the order and just get a Strat - like every one else.
I stuck with it and the guitar arrived last week. I finally sat down to do the usual- conditioning the fretboard, changed the strings etc
The guitar tuned up well, the intonation was perfect, action was 3. 5mm at 12th fret so I dropped that down. That was all it needed,
the guitar is perfect and the pickups sound great, the frets are very nice and the neck is brilliant, super easy to play.
So if you don't want a strat, I would recommend the Andy Timmons, it really is a great guitar.
Very happy
