Not cheap, but top quality

I bought these to replace the existing springs in my Strandberg as I was overhauling the tremolo system by installing a brass block and claw and figured I might as well put in some top quality springs while I'm messing around in there.

Compared to the existing springs, it's difficult to say how much difference there realistically is, but they're made in Japan so the quality is assured and I'm quite happy to have installed them and to not have to worry about replacing them in future.

A little expensive,but really good.

These are on the expensive side, however they are teflon coated and therefore, noiseless. They are meant for 9/42 gauge, just like the original FR, and are very well balanced . I have used them for a floyd rose pro, and more recently on an edge pro , and they perform excellently, quietly, you don t get any of the rattling, fendery reverby noise.
So, if it wasnt for the price , i would say they are perfect, better than the ones that came with my edge pro (which are not noiseless,by the way). They operate very smoothly .
