I was expecting better QC

Looks and feels kind of ok, but it was not all good in my case. Could not get rid of a fret buzz on the fat E string and also some other strings. The roasted neck looks and feels good but what good is that if you can not play the guitar normally because your action is too high. The slightly brighter jotoba fingerboard looks as it is dry, probably can solve this with some tung oil. There was a tiny ding on the edge of the upper "horn". As much as the cutout is great to get to the upper strings and feels ok, the holes on the neck that attach the neck to the body were each drilled to a different hight, some 3mm difference from lowest to highest. Also the neck is a bit chunkier than the slimmer necks usually on Ibanez guitars. The difference between pickup positions humbucker/singlecoil have a bit too much difference in volume. Must say that it can bee felt that you are buying a cheaper "brand name" guitar, the setup or QC do not inspire confidence ... who knows, maybe it was just my luck of the draw and was down on luck, as it was already the second guitar ordered after sending a Schecter C-6 deluxe back which had really awful fret job. So I was a bit disappointed and am returning the guitar. Will go to a physical store to choose a guitar as I am buying it for a birthday gift.
