Fantastic Beginner's Bass

I am only beginning to play bass for my bands recordings, actually being a guitarist. So, I don't know much about what this instrument is supposed to be for actual bass players. But as a beginner Instrument, it is great - especially for its price!
To my greenhorn ears the sound is really good and can be influenced via the instrument's own controls quite a bit. It looks fantastic and doesn't feel cheap in the hands. The quality still has to prove itself over time though. It is much too early to say something about it.
Status of now is: I have no open wishes for this thing, but a lot of fun with it.
Only delivery was a lack as it took two months. I figure this might have been due to the Red Sea shenanigans though.

Great budget bass!

A bass that sounds this good and plays this well usually cost hundreds more. It's light weight makes long nights on the stage a breeze. Whether you're a beginning or intermediate player or a pro that just needs a solid backup on the road without breaking the bank this is a bass worthy of your investment.

Très riche en fonctionnalités, finitions moyennes

C’est ma première basse, je n’ai pas de repère pour comparer. Cependant, je suis un fan d’Ibanez que je pratique en guitare depuis +10 ans.
Je retrouve le manche typique de la marque, les frettes sont propres, la finition satinée est agréable. Le corps est également fini en satin et sa forme est élégante. On sent les imperfections du bois au toucher, j’adore. Bref, elle a une très belle allure.
Les fonctionnalités apportées par les micros actifs sont riches, le preamp permet de modeler le son facilement, les 3 positions permettent de passer d’un style à un autre.
Côté finition, je suis un peu plus critique. Les potentiomètres sont durs, ils me font penser à un vieux Marshall. Des craquements électriques se font entendre lorsqu’on les manipule. La hauteur des cordes me parait faible mais je ne les ai pas mesurées pour comparer à la documentation. La tenue de l’accordage avec des cordes neuves est variable, c’est sûrement normal mais je n’ai pas l’habitude de ré accorder tous les jours sur la 6 cordes avec Floyd.

En résumé, bel instrument qui sonne au top mais qui a dû dormir trop longtemps dans son carton.

Leuke bas gitaar met een warme geluid.

Ik heb deze bas gitaar al een ander half jaar en ik moet zeggen dat ik zeer tevreden ben met deze bas gitaar.
Het geeft een mooie geluid en kan wel tegen een goede stoot.

Alleen wat ik een beetje jammer vind dat de draaiknoppen geen wijzers of nummers erop heeft want ik weet niet op welke standen de knoppen staan tot dat ik eraan draai.
