Great at what it does without useless extra features.

This is a great little tremolo pedal and has more than enough range in its speed control to fit any circumstance. I've read online that some people question if the largest knob would have been better given to adjust 'speed' rather than 'depth' and maybe I too would agree with this, although it doesn't really ruin anything for me. The addition of a volume control is very useful to combat any perceived volume drop -a typical problem with this type of effect. The wave can be adjusted from triangle to square wave, although I prefer the more organic sweep of 'triangle' for a more vintage type of tone. I like this series of mini pedals in general as they are all very small -yet heavy and robust, well built and thought out. I'm not a fan of the LED that Ibanez use though as at some angles it's hard to see if the pedal is on or not. Overall, I'm very happy with this product's sound, quality and price. The chorus pedal in this range is excellent too.

- schön klein, gutes Design, der Trittschalter ist erhöht, geneigt (!) und schützt die Regler
- Depth hat (für mich) einen sehr kleinen Regelbereich von „zu wenig Effekt“ zu „schon zu abgehackt“
- Amplitude könnte für mich weicher sein, entspricht dem BOSS TR-2, eigentlich ok
- die eingelassene Volumenschraube ist aus Plastik, ob das auf die Dauer so gut ist bleibt abzuwarten, schnelle, spontane Nachregelung nicht möglich
- Verarbeitung sehr wertig, schweres Gerät
- Betrieb (im reinen Boostmodus) mit E-Gitarre: keine Soundveränderung, bei einer The Loar Archtop nimmt das Pedal etwas Bässe weg, bei meiner Eastman Akustik wird es sogar leiser.

Klein und fein

Vor dem Ibanez TRMINI hatte ich ein Tremolo, das bei AKtivierung deutlich hörbar leiser klang. Zudem konnte bei diesem der Effekt nicht sehr weich eingestellt werden. Beides ist beim Ibanez TRMINI nicht der Fall. Ich höre keinen Lautstärkeunterschied und wenn das doch der Fall wäre, hat das Effektgerät eine kleine Schraube an der Seite, mit der die Lautstärke nachjustiert werden könnte. Mit dem Depth-Regler lässt sich die Welle von sehr weich bis hart gut einstellen. Mit Speed und Depth lassen sich schließlich noch die Geschwindigkeit und der Lautstärkeunterschied des Effekts fein einstellen. Trotz der geringen Größe lässt sich das Ibanez TRMINI gut bedienen. Das Gerät ist recht schwer und macht einen sehr wertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Der Aufpreis zu meinem vorherigen Tremolo hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt.
