Excellent value for money. Good build quality
Simon_M, 26.10.2017
This device does what I wanted and has a lot of extra features I did not expect.

Never having used motorised faders before, but realising I wanted them (based on using a Korg nanControl - which is an excellent piece of kit) I bought this. It is excellent.

Being able to mix tracks and jump back and forth along the row of tracks while having the faders follow and match the DAW faders is so awesome! Them being touch sensitive is a major part of that. Being able to easily adjust multiple track levels with just my fingertips is fantastic. Having the pan pots right there is great, and their 'return to 0 centre' feature when pressed is more useful that I could have imagined.

Having the transport controls right there is great. The jog wheel is, again, more useful that I would even have believed.

The built quality is great, and mine has no wobble. The buttons all work as expected. Having all the mute/solo/record buttons right there is great.

Two small things: the lights under the buttons are very bright. I would welcome a way to dim them. And, in Logic I have swapped the 'mixer' and 'write' buttons as I didn't want to lose 'latch' (which is what the 'mixer' button actually defaults to.

Overall, excellent value for money. I have adapted so quickly to using the device for mix navigation that I will certainly buy the D2 display panel, and will seriously consider expanding this device to have more physical faders.

Good "multi-fader" controller for the price.
Hyun, 12.02.2019
This review is base on Pro Tools scenario.

Pros
- Compact Size with ?eight? 10-bit motorised fader.
- Useful transport control.
- Motorised Fader not too noisy.
- Colourful backlight knobs, you won?t misunderstanding which knob is activated.

Cons
- Manual is lacking lots of informations.
- You?d better NOT connect to USB hub might cause MIDI latency.
- Can?t use encoder to control plugin?s parameter with Pro Tools.
- The ninth Master fader do NOT support Pro Tools.
- Flip mode do NOT support Pro Tools.
- Automation Read&Write knobs do NOT support Pro Tools.
- Can?t use User Defined Mode with Pro Tools. ( It?s not HUI protocol )
- No ?0db? labelling with faders.

Actually, I do a lots research for Icon Platform M+ before I buy it.
So I know Its functions are NOT fully supported with Pro Tools due to HUI protocol?s limitation.

Luckily, I running it without any issue.?But first, the manual is really unhelpful.
Any important informations you need, just google it.
Such as how to calibrate the faders.
Also you should plug it directly to your computer.
Probably the USB hub will cause MIDI latency, the latency will affect fader moving laggy.
(But now I?m using a thunderbolt dock without any problem.)

Next, The fader?s sensitivity is tricky.
You should press with a little bit pressure when you push it,
or it will pull you finger back.
Not like Avid Artist Mix & S3,?you can push the fader as you want, even a sightly movement.
(I?m calibrated the faders most sensitive & slowing with Icon?s tutorial video at youtube.)

Overall,
although it has limitation with Pro Tools,
?it still a good fader controller for the price.
But if you have enough budget, just go for Avid Artist Mix.
