Gutes Mikro, aber mit kleinen Schwächen

Ich habe heute das IK Mulitmedia iRig Mic erhalten und bin mit der Verarbeitung soweit zufrieden. Neben dem iRig Mic werden eine Kunstledertasche (erinnert an eine Federtasche) für das Mikrofon und eine Mikrofonhalterung für ein Stativ. Sehr nett und praktisch.

Soweit so gut. Nach dem Aufpacken wurde das iRig an ein ipod Touch 4G 32GB angeschlossen. Die Qualität ist wirklich ziemlich gut. Das Mikrofon lässt sich in 3-Gainstufen teilen. Leider gibt es keinen Ausschalter. Die Gainstufen sind sehr praktisch für Aufnahmen, ob im ruhigen oder im lauteren Raum.

Ich besitze die Vollversionen von VocaLive(15,99€) und AmpliTube und bin soweit zufrieden. Dass man für eine 4 Spur-Aufnahmefunktion 3,99 oder 7,99 (AmpliTube) hinlegen darf, ist etwas enttäuschend. Die Effekte und Einstellungen der Software sind super. Für Aufnahmen enpfehle ich eher eine externe Quelle (PC mit guter DAW). Einfach Kopfhörerausgang mit dem PC verbinden.

Fazit: Ich beschwer mich auf hohe Niveau. Für 49,- bekommt man ein solides Mikrofon für iPod/iPhone/iPad, dass man auch in anderen Bereich verwenden kann. 3,5mm Kline mit Kopfhörerausgang. Für bessere Aufnahmen für unterwegs geeignet.

Mittlerweile gibt es bessere Lösungen am iPod-Zubehör-Markt

zB. Tascam iXZ oder IK Multimedia iRig Pre Vorverstärker für normale Gesangsmics sogar mit Phantompower. Oder noch besser: Mit normalem Gesangsmic über einen Kleinmixer in den Lin-Eingang des preiswerteren IK Multimedia AmpliTube iRig. Allemale füren diese Lösunge zu besseren Ergebnissen. Das iRig Mic ist ein ElectMic, dass zu sehr rauscht, eine knaksige unsymmetrische Adernleitung hat und als GesangsMic immer noch zu viele Umgebungsgeräusche einfängt.

Meine Bewertung aus Sicht eines Sängers: Durch die gute mechanische Verarbeitung und das angenehme Gewicht liegt das IRig-Mikro sehr gut in der Hand. An das IPhone 3GS angeschlossen erklärt sich dann allerdings schnell der relativ günstige Preis. Ein hohes Grundrauschen und die sehr künstlich wirkenden Effekte in der Freeware "VocaLive" sind ungeeignet für halbwegs ambitionierte Musiker oder Leute, die öfter als einmal im Monat ein Mikro benutzen oder die Aufnahme jemandem vorführen wollen.

Für den Zweck und Preis gut.

Sicherlich will man mit diesem Mikrofon keinen Live Auftritt bestreiten, aber für den Zweck, nämlich am iPad oder iPhone einfach mal ein bisschen Gesang aufzunehmen ist dieses Mikro sehr gut geeignet. Die Verarbeitung ist gewohnt gut, wenn auch ein Sm 57 sich besser anfühlt. Aber es tut was es soll, anstecken Singen. Das Rauschen hört sich an den Grenzen.
