This guitar is a great beginner to intermediate guitar for everyone that want to get a guitar with a Floyd Rose style bridge.

The guitar came intonated perfectly, but I changed the strings right away - for anyone wanting to use .10+ strings - even for .10 strings in E standard you're going to need 5 strings, which is weird to me, but okay, it works.

The finish is amazing, unfortunately, my guitar had (and still has) paint residue on the FR bridge, and there's no way for me to remove it without actually damaging the bridge finish. The rest of the finish (the body, neck and the binding) is perfect, though, and I love it.

The bridge works amazingly well, after making sure that the locking nut is secured properly you can whammy away and not worry about the guitar getting out of tune.

The pickups are exactly the way 90% of people claim they are - very muddy and full of low-ends, I would not recommend playing the guitar with a heavy distortion and/or lower tunings. I've actually changed the pickups a day after I have received the guitar, I've installed Seymour Duncan SH-6 set and it works perfectly, this is my favourite guitar now and it's great.

If I had lost this guitar today (let's say that someone stole it from me) I'd definitely buy another one, no doubt about it. I am actually considering buying another one but with the Rhoads body. Chapeau bas for Jackson, 11/10, would recommend to anyone interested in playing heavy rock/metal tunes.

Give your pinky a treat

A very well built guitar and the quality is well above the price point. The neck is smooth and there was no fret sprout or unfinished fretwork. The factory setup was excellent requiring very little tweaking to suit my personal preferences. The guitar weighed about 7lbs and is very comfortable to play for hours at a time. The guitar is a real stunner to look at too. When I started playing guitar in the 80's you simply could not buy a guitar of this quality for this price. The pickups sound very good and the controls are responsive as is the Floyd rose tremolo. The tuners work well and changing strings is fairly easy. Overall, a very well built an excellent guitar. Highly recommended.

For the price.

The maple neck is aesthetically pleasing but it is also super smooth and really fast.
The sound from the stock pickups is pretty good too, would probably require a bit of tweaking if recording though.
Floyd Rose is pretty good especially for the price.
All in all a brilliant guitar for the price and really lightweight too.
