Nice small case

The case is compact and looks good. Excellent backpack straps that are easy to adjust and fit the body well.

The fit is on the snug side. The instrument is very well supported and held well in place. I had to remove the string tube as it was pressing on the instrument, but I expect this issue to resolve itself as the padding becomes compacted with use.

A few things to consider: There is no real place to secure a shoulder rest, but one does fit next to the scroll decently. There is a padded cover which flips over the instrument, and this is sewn into the case, so you don't have the option not to use it.

The differences between this case and the cheaper "maestro" version seem largely cosmetic (having looked at both in a shop prior to ordering). I chose this case for the colour and better quality metal fittings, and am happy with the decision.

A good choice if you are looking for a small, light, neutral-looking case.
