lucky choice

I bought the James Neligan EW3000 CN based on a You Tube review, but without actually seeing or playing the guitar. Fortunately It turned out to be a good choice. The guitar is well made ( very well made considering price). It is quite lightweight and very comfortable to play with nice action. On board electrics are excellent and produce a great variety of sounds when played through my Yamaha THR5A amp. I am a strummer rather than a solo artist and this guitar is excellent for me

So far So good
New guy 09.04.2023
So to start, I've only been playing for roughly a month, and needed something quiet since I live in an apartment and also have small children who go to bed early.

So, as for the guitar, It feels really good to play on. I have a yamaha acoustic I started on, and this guitar feels really good compared to it except for the action. Sadly, the action is better on my 50$ pawn shop guitar. The one thing I do need done is a proper set up, and since the only place near me charges $100 for a basic set up, I'll have to wait on that.

The over all quality of the instrument is nice though. It not loud at all, it has the headphones jack that helps me hear the sound better and the sound is very clear. As for the tone nobs, I wish there was some instructions on which nob did what. I mean yes its easy enough to figure out how to make it louder, but as for the other three, It would be nice to get some insight on which one did what. Since I am still new, they all sound the same to me except for very small differences.

AS I get better, I may come back and understand more, I'll post an update, but for now. It works as intended, fits my current needs, but probably shouldn't be worth the price paid.

Very happy so far. I only had to lower the action a bit.
Here is a compilation of videos I've recorded playing with it:

Nice Guitar but need some work.

The guitar is nice, and light and has a good sound but it is a bit hard to tune with the original tuners. Had to replace the tuners and do some service. Overall it is a good guitar for the price.
