In my opinion the most versatile and best looking speakers in the 350-500 price range. I haven't compared them directly to other competitors at the same prace range, but now that i have done around 5 gigs with these speakers i can say that i am pleased with them.
They have a little bit of "plastic sound", but it can be (sort of) eliminated to a certain degree with the smartphone app using the EQ+ option.
The front LED is a bit too dim for my taste, really hard to "read" when in direct sunlight.

I love that it has four (!!) handles, which makes handling the boxes more comfortable.
I aslo love that they are reasonably light yet they don't feel cheap.
The sound is on the bright side, but i consider it as a good thing.

Overall, i can recommend these speakers, but bare in mind that it is still on the cheap side of the spectrum and you cannot compare them to the 800-1000 price range, no matter what the specs says ;)

Good Speakers but theres better out there.

Good speakers , have had a few problems with clipping with them. Wouldn't recommend them by themselves if you are a DJ clipping happens most when not used in "Sub" mode which means the EQ gets rid of all bottom end on these.

No manual EQ all presets.
No Auxillary connection into it or Phono.

Great crisp audio quality in the high end but don't use without a sub , you'll honestly blow them pretty quickly , I find them okay for partys of 100/150 people.

If you have the chance save up a little more and get a 15 Top will save you money in the long term and will save you the heartache of blowing a speaker.

Powerful for its size, very light in weight, easy to carry, sounds very clear and a lot of bass for its size, highly recommended to anyone looking for a trusted brand and a affordable multi purpose 12" driver speaker. Go down to your local store and experience it for yourself and buy it from Thomman for a decent price and fast delivery. I'm a very satisfied customer with this Jbl eon 612 compared to the EZ ZLX12, this is way better.

Superb sound quality at a great price!

I have always used Mackie SRM350/450s as I found the build and sound quality to be excellent. But then I encountered the Eon 612s and discovered there was a whole new level of brilliance!

Before you read on, know this; they sound FANTASTIC! It is so good you want to reach out and touch it. If that doesn't peak your interest, read on...

Taking them out of the box for the first time they felt solid and well built but not heavy or unwieldy. The generous and well positioned handles make moving, lifting, turning and adjusting their position a doddle.

I was anxious about the "bluetooth" connectivity a I didn't want some spurious unnecessary nonsense to get in the way of great sound. When they arrived the EQ didn't appear to be working on one of them so I thought I would get the iOS app and see whether I could sort it. Within 10 minutes I had downloaded the app, connected to my speakers, upgraded to the latest firmware and everything was ready to make a noise. I didn't need to use help pages etc. as it was very simple and intuitive. That was the last time I used bluetooth...

Dynamic range is great as I was surprised by the bass generation of 12" cones as they are very usable on their own, easily comparing to 15" speakers I have used before. Adding a crossover and a sub drives so much volume, punch and clarity that I would highly recommend it if you like a big sound as well as driving bass.

I haven't driven them at 100% as I don't like to damage my gear, but I have pushed them to c80% and they remain as clear as when at c20%.

They are incredibly directional and there is so little noise behind them you will be lulled into turning them up if you are sat there eg. DJing.

Overall, these are so good I am considering buying a 2nd pair to double-up for some of the larger venues/outdoor work I do. They are defo 5* and well worth the money!
