Ich habe die Saiten seit 2 Wochen aufgezogen. Der Klang ist absolut gut, Abnutzung nach dieser Zeit nicht festzustellen. Was mir allerdings mit "normalen" Stahlsaiten noch nie passiert ist: Die G-Saite ist gerissen. Ich muß allerdings dazu sagen, dass ich diese Saite beim Blues-Picking oft bis zu einem Ganzton ziehe. Ob S&K-Saiten das im allgemeinen nicht mögen, weiß ich nicht. Was den Sound betrifft, werde ich bei diesen Saiten bleiben. vielleicht war´s ja nur ein Einzelfall.

Très bonnes cordes pour un son plus "medium"

J'ai installé ces cordes sur ma Art & Lutherie AMI (un modèle parlor) dans le but de me rapprocher du son des guitaristes blues-folk-country des années 20-30. Je cherchais un son typé "medium", et je dois dire que je suis assez satisfait. Les produits John Pearse sont de très bonne qualité et ces cordes ne dérogent pas à la règle.

Pues sí, ésa es la impresión que me han dado estas cuerdas, con un sonido nada estridente, aunque con agudos marcados cómo corresponde a unas cuerdas de metal, pero con un cuerpo y una "base" que recuerda un poco (he dicho un poco)a las cuerdas de Nylon. El sonido de conjunto és más caliente que en las metálicas normales, más blando, y más compenetrado, cómo si las cuerdas se arroparan unas a otras...
Nunca había probado cuerdas con seda y estoy verdaderamente contento.
