Quite happy with this. This amp has a great clean channel and a lot of versatility with it's "Boost" and "Push" options, making it a great pedal platform. The Distortion channel is also decent, although it can be quite fizzy (especially with lots of gain) and it comes out quite bass heavy on the harley benton 2x12 with v30's I'm running it through. I find it really needs a tube screamer style pedal to get the mids and highs to cut through well (I am using a power soak which may be increasing that, and apparently you can put a patch lead in the FX loop and use the send level knob to reduce volume). Build quality feels solid too.

I may change the tubes at some stage to see if that cleans up the fizz but with more mild gain settings it still has pretty thick distortion and most of the fizz cleans up. Overall a great amp for the money (considering I paid 1/2 what a second hand Mesa Mini Rectifier costs here, and I'm pretty sure this is a clone of that) and potentially really great with a tube change.

Best all valve head in it's class.

Sounds mega and don't let that 15w output let you think for a moment that it won't be loud enough for you. This thing roars plenty loud and I even have it going through an attenuator to keep the neighbours happy.

A powerful little box, but with some quality concern.

I will start with saying that if you are interesting in buying this amp, go for it. I feel it is worth every penny of its purchase price. I had some issues with mine but thankfully it wasn't necessarily at direct fault of the amp, but the tubes themselves.

First off I will go over what's great:
You get a 2 channel amp with a solid clean channel which is basically a pedal paradise, a dirty channel for all your higher gain needs, and an effects loop to bypass the preamp. With an overdrive up front, this thing can get seriously heavy and sounds great with my 7 string Hellraiser with 707s. I am using a joyo vintage overdrive as a cheap option to boost the front. It is basically an 8oh8 circuit, so you know what you're getting with those as well. Amp also has a midcut switch that works very well. If you play with that as well as the mid knob, you can get some very good sounds dialed in. Your mileage may vary of course depending on your speaker and what tones you are going for.

The iffy:
Some of the knobs clearly don't do anything until the 2-3 o'clock position. Could be my vintage 30 loaded 1x12 at bedroom volumes, so that's probably on me. Still, thought I would mention it.
The onboard boost switch doesn't do much on the dirty channel to be honest. Mixed with a front overdrive gives a much better tone, but alone it leaves much to be desired. Maybe it could be modded?

Now for the bad:
After a week this amp started letting out horrible popping noises. I later determined that one of the power tubes had already gone bad. Replaced with a matched set of JJ tubes and it has been perfect ever since. I will say it is weird to me that the preamp tubes are all JJ but the power tubes were unbranded Chinese tubes. If you do purchase this amp, be prepared to replace those immediately. Many people like to change out tubes anyway so maybe this won't be an issue for you at all.

Overall this is a nice little amp and I am enjoying it for bedroom practicing. Also I will shout out Thomann's amazing customer support as they were super helpful and responsive during the time that I was trying to figure out the issue with the amp. I am glad it was not an internal issue but just a defective tube.
