Perfectly suits my needs
WillO, 21.12.2013
I've been using my QuNexus onstage and in the studio for 4 months. I can't imagine a better-designed compact keyboard for gigging. So long as all you need is 25 keys, this is worth checking out. I've had several other keyboards in the sub EUR200 range over the years, and every one of them has failed or otherwise malfunctioned (with the notable exception of the AKAI MPK Mini). I see my QuNexus lasting me a long time, it's a very, very sturdy item, with no knobs or sliders that might break off. The whole unit oozes quality.

Like Keith McMillen's other products, you'll get the best out of this if you dive into the software editor a bit, to customize the pad response to your liking and so on, but you don't have to do this, it works great as a plug and play controller.

The pads take a little getting used to (as opposed to keys), but I've become a big fan of them. They're extremely responsive, there's a great 'feel' to them and poly aftertouch is a great feature. They're also great for finger-drumming. And they light up!

The only downside is the pitchbend pad. It's the one feature of the unit that's not well thought out, it's uneven and unpredictable in its response, so I've docked a star for handling.

Time will tell if it's as durable as it seems, but the construction inspires confidence. For me, it's money well spent.

Portable Keyboard/Pad Controller with Poly Aftertouch for iOS / MIDI / CV - A winner!
aZiMuTh, 25.05.2014
Easily the best "features-vs-cost" ratio for portable MIDI/Keyboard/Pad Controllers out there. The rubber keys are surprisingly playable, with individual Tilt/Pressure Sensitivity (adjustable), Poly Aftertouch, Hold function, MIDI expansion, CV control. You can have it hooked to an iPad Camera Connection Kit (or to a USB hub) and control your iOS apps, as well as using it to control other MIDI gear/hardware synths via the (separately purchased MIDI Expander module) - as well as using its CV interfaces to control analogue/CV gear. Settings, Presets, Templates can be customizable via a downloadable Windows/Mac app,. Build quality is also great, the unit is sturdier than anticipated.
