Finally a steady stand!
SubTrailss 13.12.2021
I brought this stand to replacing my old one. The last one I had was terrible, unstable and impossible to setting. The K&M made my life easier, A LOT. Expecially when I use it for recording acoustic guitars and flip the microphone upside down! If you need to move your stand in all moves possibles, i recommend this one!

Stable and secure with extra reach.
Electricbacfac 27.08.2019
Very good quality heavy duty tall mic stand. I have 3 and use them regularly. I'd never trust expensive mic's to a cheap stand. These will never fall over and they have a good amount of height. No telescopic boom arm is my only criticism. They are excellent for placing recording mic's on location when you need that extra height without needing a giant stand.

Sturdy except in challenging environments
Anonymous 09.02.2017
This is a heavy, solidly built, tall stand. It is great for drum overheads, which I primarily use it for. For 90% of uses it excels.

However, at my practice room I have tested its limitations. The floorboards there bounce under pressure. This stand then wobbles from the base. When this stand is still you can test this by gently pushing it. Even when securely tightened it gently wobbles from the base. But this is only an issue if the stand is made to move in the first place.

I am happy with this stand. To get absolute stability in my unfavourable room I would need to go to the final tier of microphone stands with the most solid bases.

Using them as overhead stands for the drums, does their job. sturdy arm and heavy end-weight, good balance.
