Strong and stable, many uses
This is a good design with one mounting point you can position on several points around the clamp. But I just wish it had a couple more. I would also prefer a longer handle/wingnut so you could tighten the clamp more. It's very solid and feels well made.
This also clamps very nicely to cymbal or snare drum stands, I used a Shure A26X extension with mine and I have a great way to attach a mic under a cymbal or even to point over a tom. Many uses for this clamp

Easy to install, underrated
A lot of people would be very happy with this product instead of a cheap boom arm desk stand, simple sleek and paired with an Shure A26X does the job perfectly. a brief glance of the instructions and you'll have no problem setting it up

heavy duty grip
buy one or two extra threaded bolts (comes with one) because it can take more than one connection and a lot of weight. mine sits on a drum rack and supports my Zoom H5 on the end of a 20cm gooseneck with a Rycote suspension. feels reassuringly secure.
