Spacetrip für unter 200€?!

Eigentlich wollte ich ja nur etwas um die Mod-Section etas zu erweitern. Made in Germany? Unter 200€? Logo! Mach ich..so schlimm kanns nicht werden. Schliesslich ist KMA Machines schon eine Name im heimischen Pedal Game.

Als ich loslegenwollte war erstmal baff wie räumlich und nebengeräuscharm das abläuft. Ich habe doch sogar etwas mehr Noise erwartet, aber überhaupt nicht. Vielleicht bin ich auch leicht zu eindrucken, da ich bis immer analog ausgerüstet war.

Es hat eine ganze Weile gedauert bis ich mich an die ganzen Regler getraut habe. Ein Tipp: Unbedingt die Anleitung lesen!! So intuitiv ist das Ding nämlich nicht. Oder einfach drau los fuddeln und gucken was kommt. Das führt aber selten zu sinnvollen Ergebnissen beim Cirrus. Vor allem der SENS-Regler ist elementar...

Die Möglichkeiten sind soo umfassend das nur ein 30-45min. Tutorial Video mir ganzheitlich erläutern konnten was alles geht..und wieviel davon ich sogar niemals brauchen werde.

Final: Heftig viel Bang for the Buck. Und das ganz "regional" ohne C und USA..

BELLES AMBIANCES

Beaucoup de possibilités pour créer des ambiances sur vos compos, personnellement je ne m'en sers pas dans l'élaboration de mon son de base, je préfère le côté plus sombre d'un El Capistan. Le son ici est assez brillant, plus Metheny que Rosenwinkel. Ceci étant dit, il réagit très bien à la dynamique de la guitare et les nombreuses possibilités de mélange entre Delay/Reverb/Octave et pédale d'expression permettent une palette créative qui redonne vie à vos compos. La fonction TAP and Hold est bien vue, si on veut ajouter un bel effet en plein solo. Au niveau fabrication c'est du super solide, par contre les potards de dosage ainsi que les switchs sous les potards principaux sont minuscules, en live ça doit pas être pratique. Tous les potards réagissent très finement et permettent vraiment de sculpter le son jusqu'à atteindre l'effet désiré. Je cherchais de quoi étendre ma palette sonore et referais ce choix sans hésiter.

Vielseitiges Klangwunder

Ich hatte das Cirrus von KMA schon länger im Auge und war von den Reviews und Soundbeispielen aus dem Netz sehr überzeugt... Bloß war mir das Design der Standard-Variante etwas zu rot/orange (das Auge spielt beim Blick aufs Pedalboard ja bekanntlich mit).
Und dann kam die Shadow Edition... Das Design gefällt mir sehr gut und da die Funktionen identisch zum Standard sind, habe ich es mir bestellt und nicht bereut.
Das Pedal ist vielseitig einsetzbar und liefert eine tolle Soundmodulation. Ich nutze es größtenteils im FX Loop meines Marshall DSL5CR, um meinem angezerrten Sound mehr Tiefe zu geben oder (vorwiegend clean) mit den unterschiedlichen Delay-Varianten zu spielen.

Meiner Meinung nach passen Preis-Leistung hier sehr gut zusammen und bieten ein richtig tolles Pedal, allerdings mit ein paar Abzügen bei der Bedienung, weil das Pedal nicht so leicht zu bedienen ist wie etwas simplere Varianten. Aber sowas weiß man dank der Fotos und Reviews ja vorher.
