Kompakter Controller für unterwegs oder im Studio
Das nanoKEY Studio überzeugt vor allem durch die kompakte Größe (etwas kleiner als ein DIN A4 Blatt) und die unkomplizierte Bluetoothanbindung in iOS oder MacOS. Das Gehäuse ist zwar vollständig aus Plastik, es wirkt dennoch sehr stabil (es wirkt definitiv nicht billig). Man kann es für unterwegs problemlos einfach so in den Rucksack packen. Die Tasten erinnern an eine klassische Computer-Tastatur, sind aber gut bespielbar. Für das Einspielen kurzer Sequenzen reicht es völlig. Gut gefällt mir außerdem, dass sämtliche Tasten und Pads beleuchtet sind. So kann man sich zum Beispiel als Spielhilfe die richtigen Tasten für verschiedene Tonarten anzeigen lassen.
Positiv überrascht war ich von der mitgelieferten light-Verion von Korg Gadget (quasi ein DAW mit integrierten Synthesizern). Hiermit kann man direkt "Plug-and-Play" auf iOS oder MacOS loslegen inkl. direkten Mapping der Drehregler. Auf dem iPhone/iPad klappt die Verbindung sofort und man merkt kaum eine Latenz. Auf MacOS benötigt man eine zusätzliche Software, dann funktioniert es aber auch genau so gut. Man merkt, dass der Controller für die mobile Nutzung mit der Korg-Software ausgelegt ist, dennoch nutze ich ihn hauptsächlich zu Hause mit Logic. Durch die geringe Größe und Bluetooth-Konnektivität hat man ihn auch mal schnell vom Tisch geräumt.

Amazing features, very portable
I use the nanoKEY Studio with the "Korg Gadget" mobile DAW software on an iPad.
The features are amazing for the price. The arp is great fun, and the scale features are very helpful. It is the perfect MIDI controller for an iPad.
However, it must be understood that the keyboard is not really designed for fluid playing a melody, it is more suited to triggering chords and arp sequences.

It's more than a controller that, You could have Your own arp line ! It's very unique and useful

Cute, but…
It works very well, its about as plasticky as it looks, but that means its ultra light, so thats an acceptable trade off for the backpack.
I haven’t used it for long enough to really evaluate.
But no real complaints.
Nice that it works on battery & bluetooth but also usb.

the controller feels almost like an instrument. its easy to use, super-portable, korg's finest.

First keyboard - would recommend to beginners
This is my first midi keyboard and my first contact with a piano in general. used it with ableton, fairly simple setup and very easy to use.

Can't beat the portability, but not a fan of the keyboard.
Connected to iOS/iPadOS with sero issues. pre mapped support with most music production apps. its a killer deal for sure. Had quite a bit of difficulty connecting it wirelessly to my macbook, so i wish that was more intuitive. all in all, its a great deal on a great product. I'd buy it again
