When choosing the right monitor it’s good practice to weigh up design build quality against what realistically is your expectations of the purchase, what I mean is knowing the manufacturer and it’s history has always been the decisive reason why I haven’t gone to others and owing GEN 3 rokit 6 before The Gibson family bought out KRK has assured me that they were only ever going to improve on what was already a great product and brand.

Why I choose the tri-amped 10/3 over the 2 way was simple, I wanted to hear more separation and these have delivered on that front and haven’t just impressed me but also some singer song writers that have viewed them recently, like I said earlier first is build quality followed by sound and separation and lastly price, but if you consider the price of 2 monitors they fall well into the category of affordability for those looking for a pristine sounding reliable system that will fulfil all their expectations.

Verarbeitung würde ich als gut beschreiben.
Die Bedienung des DSPs finde ich nicht so gelungen.
Es gibt nur fertige Voreinstellungen für die Entzerrung der Filter, die nicht wirklich für jeden Raum passen. Also das wirkt eher eingeschränkt für individuelle Einstellungen.
Die App wirkt für mich eher als Give Away aber nicht als professionelle Hilfe um die Monitore wirklich einmessen zu können.
Allein die Tatsache das Mikro vom Smartphone zur Messung zu nutzen sagt schon alles.

Aber !!!
Der Sound hat mich mehr als Überzeugt.
Die Mitte ist der Hammer, eine solche Detailauflösung habe ich lange nicht mehr gehört. Auch die Höhen sind da, sehr offen aber nicht zu weit vorne.
Stimmen und instrumente bekommen Konturen, man kann genau definieren wo die einzelnen Töne sitzen.
Die Dynamik ist mehr als nur beeindruckend.
Und dann der Bass :
Staubtrocken und punktiert spielt der Bass ohne Ermüdung sehr sauber wieder. Ja, er geht Abgrundtief nach unten.
Das ist sein kleiner Fehler, die Subbässe sind unkontrolliert und teilweise zu viel. Ich habe da die unteren Frequenzen etwas gefiltert.

Fazit:
Für das Geld vom Sound, Auflösung, Tiefenstaffelung, Stereobild kaum zu schlagen. Wer keinen teuren Marken-Monitor im Studio stehen haben muss um seinen Kunden zu imponieren, sollte sich diese Monitore unbedingt anhören.
