home professional Studio
Krk my first Studio monitors.
I didn't come across them right away. I chose for a very long time, reviewed many hours of reviews on youtube.
Initially, I looked at the tomann JBL 305P MKII, they were satisfied with the price-quality ratio, plus they are inexpensive on the budget.
Of course it is worth adding that if the yamaha company were not such villains, and in my country would not cost sky-high money, then of course without doubt the choice would fall on them. But not fate.
So I didn't come across krk right away, but after listening to it, I couldn't stop loving it.
It remained only to determine the model. The fives were received positively by many reviewers, but still without enthusiasm(in terms of sound reliability).
You could take eights, but for my small Studio, this is too much. So by process of elimination, the choice fell on seven. And it's delicious.
I will not repeat the specification, the feeling of the sound is just Bombay.
A lot of settings, a convenient menu on the back side, with a display.
The monitors themselves are amazing, the quality of the materials, they are gorgeous.
I didn't find any disadvantages, except that I had to buy them earlier.
Bottom line: I'm very happy with the choice, krk is a cool alternative to yamaha.

Really good!
I've tried out some Adam competitors, compared them to these, and I feel that KRK's G4 series/generation does not deserve the reputation they have from prior generations.
The flat EQ setting sounds exactly the same and just as flat as the Adam speakers I tried. When I'm not mixing music, I would prefer just a little bit extra bass to have a more relaxed listening experience during music sessions, watching videos and gaming. And the EQ settings on these do allow you to add just a little nudging of bass, turning them into what their older generations are like.
The flexibility that they offer - although no full freedom in the EQs - does set them apart from the competitors.
I don't like the bright yellow theme, but the optional grills help there.
All in all, I find them a very good upgrade of any PC type speakers you might have at first. These are a very good starting point into better audio gear, and you don't neccessarily have to go higher at all!

THE BEST WORK OF KRK MONITOR SERIES
I will try briefly. I took it for a home studio. I say right away, it's better to take 7 inches than 5. Because in 7 inches, as for me, it is smoother and it is possible to work with the mix in more detail. They can be configured in great detail for the room, the phase inverter is in front, so it is suitable for a small room. They are much better than the 3rd generation of krk, as it seemed to me they are smoother and less color the sound. I miss the top a little, it's like it's *closed*, although it is indicated that they work up to 40k hertz, but this is a matter of taste. The ears do not get tired much. Smooth frequency response, good dense lower middle. Not bad tops, the upper-middle did not fail (as for example in the same presonus). The phase inverter is in the front, which is important for a home studio. For this money, I'm surely advise it!!

Beautiful
I got this model because the Rokit rp5 were sold out because of the pandemic. How the setting is in my room, when they arrived I thought they were a bit big for it, but once I tried them, I couldn't really send them back ahahaha. I got to try the RP5 at my friends place, but when i heard these, I said to myself that i could find the space and I did and regret nothing.
They sound very clear, the base it's beautiful too, and i haven't even touched the settings. I love the natural flat sound (no eq changes made by me) that they have.
There is something was kind of bothering me, as they are really close to me atm i can here a little hiss from the tweeters (when nothing is playing), but with the time you get use to it. Also i have them like 50cm away from my hears. When i lay back 1m away i can not hear it anymore. I hope the fix this on the next model because it a mis annoying.
I really recommend them. They are wonderful

Perfect purchase
For my needs the Rokit RP7 checks all the marks. It has a good sound quality, good volume for a home studio (would not recommend less, as sometimes I do hit the vicinity of the max setting) and also a nice build quality, as well.
There are no downsides, just a little rant. Although the EQ LCD is a nice feature, and you don't find it at a lot of monitors, the values which you can play with are fairly limited. Sometimes you would just want to go further and tweak it a little bit more.
Also, both LCD's are placed on the back of the monitors, which really is a spot where you would not want to go a lot, by constantly rotating your monitors and bending over the desk. Don't get me wrong, any spot would be inconvenient (except for the front, which obviously cannot be done), but I would've been perfect if I had the option to control my settings VIA Bluetooth, through a Mobile/Desktop app.

The screen on the back with the presets combined with the phoneApp, it s a game changer for setting up your speakers for the room you want to listen to. The low end it's simply beautifull and for a 7'' they are strong.

Great but better with subwoofer.
I'm coming from random 2.1 system that had one shared amp on all 3 speakers. I received speakers yesterday so they are still in burn-in period but they can only get better from here,
Pros
-Clean flat sound that can be enhanced with built in EQ for multimedia listening
-Surprisingly smooth lows for the size
-Great if you play guitar through the speakers (not so good for bass)
Cons
-*A slight hiss can be heard when no sound is playing (Could be from my soviet era power lines with no grounding so your mileage may vary)
-Since there are no left and right speaker the KRK logo will be positioned on left side for both speakers. (OCD warning)
-If you are more into Drum and Bass or similar music then the speakers could benefit from subwoofer. (consider buying 5" monitors + subwoofer to cut expenses)

Clear & Great Sound.
These speakers sound very clear, the base is deep and immersive. I love the natural flat sound (with no EQ changes) that they have. The only downside is a white noise that comes from speakers while they're not playing.

Unusable as studio monitors because of noise
I had purchased RokIt 5's a few years back, but wanted some more volume for the sound, and yes, these have larger and louder sound. Initially I got b-stock RP7's, but they had bad hissing noise (even on low volume), so I had to get them returned and bought a-stock instead. Unfortunately the a-stock speakers suffer from the same noise issue, so I will need to get these returned as well. The old RokIt 5's have noticeable noise only if you move your ear very close to the speaker, but with these the noise is clearly audible even from a few meters away. These are unsuitable for studio work, maybe they could be used for DJ practice or something, but not for listening any recorded material, as the noise will hide possible sound quality issues of the recordings.

Rokit G4 rocks :-)
I had the previous version of this, the G3. Those G4's are in a totally different league ! I love the built-in equalizer at the back (with LCD), and I love the IOS tuning app ! Easy peasy, and a great sound after all !
