Large frequency range
The KRK RP5 Rokit G3 Classic is an active two-way monitor for nearfield applications. The third generation of the popular studio speaker is equipped with a 5" woofer and a 1" tweeter. The diaphragms, made of glass aramid and textile, are driven by 50W RMS of bi-amplified power and a sound pressure of up to 101dB SPL. For a relatively small loudspeaker, bass reproduction down to 46Hz is impressive. In the treble range, this monitor speaker even offers far more than the human ear can typically detect. Here, its treble reproduction up to 34.5kHz offers a considerably high amount of headroom.

Manual adjustments to room acoustics
The KRK RP5 Rokit G3 Classic offers a balanced XLR input, a balanced 6.35mm jack socket, and an unbalanced RCA connection. This allows it to be used in professional and semi-professional environments, but also as a hi-fi speaker. In order to achieve the appropriate adjustments to the listening position, the level adjustment of the monitor covers an immense control range of 36dB in total. In addition, both the bass and treble can be specifically adjusted to the room acoustics. A treble cut of up to 2dB and a boost of 1dB are possible. The bass reproduction can be reduced by 1dB and increased by 2dB. An automatic standby function switches the speaker off after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Inexpensive production tool for starters
Beginners and occasional users will find in the KRK RP5 Rokit G3 Classic a flexible, adjustable monitor speaker that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. With its distinctive yellow diaphragm, the speaker not only looks smart in home studios, but can also reproduce a really wide range of frequencies. If you don't require lots of volume, this is a serious workhorse whose size is not too bulky and which, at less than 6kg, can easily fit on standard speaker stands. And for those who still work with a CRT monitor, the magnetic shielding of the loudspeaker is an additional selling point.

Bundles for stability and initial setup
The KRK RP5 Rokit G3 Classic provides enough sound in small rooms to accurately evaluate recording signals and mixes. Likewise, thanks to its RCA connection, it can serve as an active hi-fi monitor that does not require an additional amplifier. Wherever space is at a premium and a wide frequency spectrum at a moderate volume is listened to at close range, this speaker is a suitable candidate. If you are looking for a pair of these speakers and also want to isolate them acoustically from surfaces, you can fall back on our KRK RP5 Rokit G3 Bundle (article no. 326178). If you prefer to place your new pair of speakers on speaker stands, you can opt for the KRK RP5 Rokit Classic Stand Bundle (article no. 326179). And we also have the right bundle for an initial setup with a monitor controller in the RP5 Rokit G3 M-Control Bundle (article no. 361360).
