Use
I am using with 7 string bass (add 2 single strings), about 9-10 years only this set of strings. Comparsion with Dean Markley SR2000, Ken Smith - this set if best of all fits my needs.

Clarity
Very good quality and long life strings, taper core end!

pros
Long life, long sustain, perfect tone, "chorus-like" sound near bridge.
"Piano like" sound during first week of usagae.


cons
Need to adjust bridge match taper core end. But if you are using only
"Super steps" you have to doi this once.

Clarté et profondeur sont les deux mots qui viennent à mon esprit lorsque je joues avec la basse que j'ai équipée de ces La Bella Super Steps. C'est une Ibanez SR30TH active. En jouant aux doigts, on a un bon punch, une belle attaques et des aigües claires sans être agressives. Les basses sont bien définies et profondes. Et j'ai constaté une belle constance entre la corde de Si (B-string) et les autres, choses rare pour une 5 cordes dont le Si est d'habitude moins bien défini, un peu flou.

Superbes cordes (j'utilise le set de 5 (avec .128 pour la B grave) pour ma Fbass BN5
J'ai testé quasiment toutes les marques et suis resté une vingtaine d'année chez DR (fat beam) mais franchement elles sont vraiment à la hauteur de mes attentes
- très équilibrées ( Par rapport a des Savarez Hexagonal Explosion Basse Signature Rosaire Riccobono 5 Cordes 43-137 )
- l'ame nue leur donne, à mon sens, un sustain assez incroyable
- ne s'oxydent pas
Bref je pense avoir trouvé "les cordes" me correspondant et collant parfaitement avec ma FBass ;-)

brauche freiliegenden Kern an der H-Saite

Da mein 5-Saiter (Spector) einen zu engen Schlitz am Saitenhalter für die H-Saite hat brauche ich das verjüngte, bzw. den freiliegenden Kern am Ende.
Dadurch bekommt die H-Saite einen deutlich definierten Ton! Bei den andren Saiten ist der Effekt dann (für mich) nicht mehr hörbar.
Bevorzuge eigentlich die coated Saiten von Elixir der Haltbarkeit wegen aber die H-Saite passt bei mir halt nicht. Am Sound gibt es nichts zu beanstanden!
