Proven woods and an integrated preamp in an affordable 7/8 package

With a reduced scale length of 630mm and a shallow body, the La Mancha Rubinito LSM/63-CEN is ideal for children, teenagers, and more petite players. Any concerns that a smaller scale might come at the expense of a full sound are unwarranted, however, as this is ensured by the woods used for the back, sides, and neck of the instrument, and can be amplified using the integrated preamp if required. Reliable tuning stability is provided by the guitar’s robust machine heads, which also feature visually appealing black buttons. A deep cutaway gives players unrestricted access to the upper registers of the ovangkol fingerboard, so they can also hone their soloing skills without having to sprain their wrist in the process!

Proven woods for a powerful sound

The back and sides of the Rubinito LSM/63-CEN are made of laminated mahogany, which, in combination with the spruce top, produces a warm and resonant sound. The slender neck constructed from nato wood features a fingerboard made of ovangkol – both long-established and proven tonewoods used in instrument making. The matt open-pore finish gives the guitar’s body plenty of freedom to breathe and resonate, ensuring a sound that is in no way inferior to that of a larger, full-scale acoustic guitar. The integrated preamplifier also allows the Rubinito LSM/63-CEN to demonstrate its qualities when electrically amplified. In addition to a two-band EQ and the obligatory volume control, the integrated BR-1 preamp also includes a tuner with its own clearly configured display.

For children, teenagers, and anyone with smaller hands

With its reduced scale length and shallow body, the La Mancha Rubinito LSM/63-CEN is predominantly aimed at larger children, teenagers, and petite players who find the full-sized model too bulky or cumbersome. The width of the nut has also been reduced to just 47mm, which, in combination with the slim-taper neck, greatly increases playability and makes the instrument an ideal entry point for beginners and provides enhanced playing pleasure for advanced musicians. A special feature of the instrument is the integrated preamp, which allows the guitar to be connected to an amplifier, a mixing console, or even directly to a computer, thus rendering laborious microphone recordings almost superfluous.

About La Mancha

La Mancha is the house brand of the Tübingen-based distributor Reinhardt GmbH. The instruments are designed on site by experts with decades of experience in guitar building, and La Mancha guitars are built in Asia under constant, meticulous quality control. La Mancha is especially known for its Rubi-series guitars, which are designed with shorter scale lengths aimed primarily at children. These instruments have been recommended several times by the EGTA (European Guitar Teachers Association).

A guitar for all occasions

Whatever the occasion – whether practising at home, jamming with friends, or using electric amplification – the La Mancha Rubinito LSM/63-CEN is optimally prepared and, with its reduced scale length, shallow body, and a neck that is delightfully easy to play, treats its users to both a warm, resonant tone and solid workmanship. Produced with an open-pore finish, the mahogany body with its spruce top is not only aesthetically pleasing, but will also deliver an impressive level of volume. The BR-1 preamp, meanwhile, allows the guitar’s natural sound to be amplified with full authenticity, while its integrated tuner is sure to come in very handy.
