Lagendery Soloist Strings

Larsen Soloist A and D are really soft and bright strings. You have fun right after you install it to your instrument. The string itself gives you the feeling of freedom and softness. You just find yourself to play really soft, long and deep melodies with lots of joy. I have been using them for more than 20 years and never had doubt to change them.

Very happy!

I am sooo happy with this string. Ordered both an A and D, soloist string and
all I can say is wow. It only took a few seconds to hear that these are good strings
. I will probably buy these again in the future :)

DS
D Soloist - improvement over standard Larsen
David S. 169 07.03.2016
I found the sound of Soloist upper A and D strings
a very good match for my cello and an improvement
in the quality of sound over my previous standard Larsen. The sound was rounder on the D string and took less effort to come out. They did not take a lot of playing into.

My only reservation is on the quality. Neither string lasted very long. One within a few months during
tuning and the other after 6 months of playing , whereas previous strings lasted much longer.
A violin maker called them "temperamental" and
this is a considerable drawback if correct.
