I bought these pickups to upgrade the MEC pickups in my Warwick Corvette. The difference is huge, the bass came out with a new life. So much clarity and punch, greatly recommanded!

Jeg har aldrig i mine 40 år som bassist oplevet en federe lyd fra et sæt passive pickups! Lyden er fuldkommen ren, varm, stringent men kan også være punchy og aggressiv, hvis du vil have det. Du kan opnå forbløffende resultater ved at ændre i højden (afstanden op til strengene), og ved at køre med neck-pickuppen alene er du meget tæt på en god, gammel P-pass-lyd. Jeg har det bedste resultat med fuld volumen på bridge-pickuppen, og ca halv volumen på neck-pickuppen og næsten fuld bass på tonekontrollen. Jeg har valgt at købe færdig-samlet Emerson-elektronik på potmeter-siden og stik - så skal du bare lodde de fine stofkabler fra pickupperne på efter anvisningerne. Samlet set er det suverænt den beste lyd jeg nogensinde har haft på en jazz-bass - og jeg har prøvet mange, både originale 62-63?ere og alt fremefter...
