This slick product is crafted from jamjuree wood not 'siam oak' or rubber wood as stated in Thomann's website. It is an excellent instrument, up to LPs usual high standards. Piercing sharp tones combined with deep bass when struck for bass notes, show the drum can produce all the correct sounds. The finish on external wood surfaces is beautiful. The hardware well made and sturdy. Tuning the drum was easy, much like a kit tom-tom but with a spanner instead of a drum key. Not cheap but still very good value for a drum of this quality.

Verarbeitung und Material der Trommel erscheinen qualitativ einwandfrei. Nur der Sound wird dem Anspruch an eine Djembe nicht gerecht. Neben dem Basston erklingt fast immer eine hohe blecherne Frequenz mit, insbesondere, wenn die Trommel in der Mitte angeschlagen wird. Der Sound ist insgesamt auch zu flach.
