Sehr gute Erweiterung, mit kleiner Falle

Die Karte ist für mich eine sehr sinnvolle Erweiterung des DL32R.

Einzige Kritik:
Die Karte hat neben den Dante Ports noch einen Ethernet Port "Wifi Control". Dieser Port ist nicht, wie z.B. bei Yamaha Mischpulten, von den Dante Ports getrennt, sondern direkt mit dem Dante Primary Port verbunden.
Das wird zum Problem, wenn man Multicast verwendet und den WLAN Router zum Bedienen des DL32R direkt an den WIFI Control Port anschliesst; dieser wird dann von Multicast traffic überschwemmt, und eine Steuerung ist nicht mehr möglich.
Einzige Abhilfe, wenn man Multicast braucht: einen Switch mit entsprechendem Multicast management an den Dante Primary Port, und den WLAN Router für die Fernsteuerung auch an den Switch anschliessen.
Wenn man das mal weiss ist es kein Problem, ich hätte mir aber gewünscht, dass die Bedienungsanleitung deutlich auf die Verbindung zwischen Dante und Control Port hinweist.

Zusätzliche Aufwertung des DL32R!

Das Mackie DL32R besticht ohnehin durch seine Features und die Mackie-typische Ergonomie.

Diese Erweiterungskarte wertet das Pult jedoch nochmals deutlich auf, denn es kann nun als digitale Snake betrieben werden, mit einer sauberen Schnittstelle zwischen Bühne und FOH. Desweiteren ist es nun möglich das Pult an ein bestehendes Computernetz zu hängen, und es als Audiointerface über das Computernetz zu betreiben, und das mit 32x32 Kanälen!

Absolute Empfehlung!

Très facile d'installation, il convient néanmoins de bien suivre à la lettre toutes les procédures de mise à jour (Firmware et Software chez Audinate et Mackie).
Dans l'absolu, ce n'est qu'une carte réseau....rien de bien méchant !

Funktioniert tadellos

Die Dante-Karte kommt als einzelne Karte, sehr gut verpackt, und mit einer Einbauanleitung.

Der Einbau geht super easy von statten: Am DL32R zwei Schrauben lösen, die bisherige Karte raus ziehen, Dante-Karte rein schieben, Schrauben wieder eindrehen - fertig.

Danach ist es notwendig anhand der Anleitung vorzugehen und den DL32R zu einem Update zu zwingen. Ebenso muss mit einem PC oder Mac über ein Netzwerkkabel die Dante-Karte angeschlossen werden und ein Update der Firmware der Karte durchgeführt werden.

Das Gerät funktioniert danach einwandfrei. Ich selbst habe mir die Karte beschafft, da ich meinen DL32R an ein DC16 anschließe - ein Traum!

In der Mackie-Anleitung ist ein Hinweis leider nicht gegeben: Wenn man obige Schritte durch führt, dann ist die Dante-Karte am DL32R voll funktionsfähig und auch die bisherigen Funktionen laufen einwandfrei.
....trotzdem....blinkt die Netzwerk-LED rot/grün.

Irgendwann habe ich dann realisiert, dass das Blinken nur dann aufhört, wenn ich meinen Mac mit der Karte verbinde und in der Dante-Management-Software alle Dante-Kanäle route auf DL32R Kanäle.
....dann leuchtet die Netzwerk-LED grün, sobald ich das DC16 anschließe.
