Dieser Dämpfer ist in guter MB-Tradition perfekt verarbeitet und kommt in einem kleinen gepolsterten Beutel.

Je nach Instrument steht er ein bisschen weit heraus (beispielsweise auf meiner YTR-9835), hält aber wegen der guten Kork-Gummis immer gut im Schallbecher. Wenn man spielt, beeinflusst er die Intonation nur sehr wenig und auch die Ansprache ist immer noch so wie ohne Dämpfer.

Der Klang ist nicht sehr hell, aber Straight-typisch. Vielleicht kann man ihn auch neutral nennen. Möchte man mehr Brillanz, kann einer aus Metall besser geeignet sein (z.B. Tom Crown).

Für die wenigen Gelegenheiten für einen Dämpfereinsatz auf der Piccolo bin ich froh, diesen Dämpfer zu haben, denn er ist einfach zu spielen und klingt gut.
