The perfect solution for the owners of many keyboards

I like the quality of this product and it is exactly what I needed. I can route on my home-studio maximum 8 synthesizers (currently I connect all my 4 synthesizers and 1 e-piano) and its MIDI reception is much preciser compared to some old and smaller MIDI interfaces I used before. I can save 8 user presets for the connection and routing, which I edit through the computer, and then, I can recall each of them without it. The Sysex transferring works perfectly too, which is important for the older 80s synthesizers.
A great addition to my gear, very easy to use and highly recommended!

After Windows may update...

Synchronized, 19.02.2021

It just stopped working. Drivers for Windows are from 2013. Support is really bad. So I am stuck with a device that I cannot use.

"Audio Click Input - konvertiert einen Audio Click in MIDI Daten". Genau so wird es in der Produktpräsentation versprochen! Das war für mich der Hauptgrund warum ich mich für das anspruchsvolle MOTU Midi Express XT entschied. Nach "Click to Midi" sucht man in der aktuellen Software vergeblich. (mac + pc!)

Die entsprechende popup- Leiste ist schlicht nicht da! Bei älteren softwares taucht das Einstellfenster auf, funktioniert aber nicht. Bei der aktuellen Software scheint sogar die Hardware Signale zu empfangen, was gerade mal genug Hoffnung macht, um weitere Tage mit rumprobieren zu verbringen...

Seit einem kostenpflichtigen! Telefongespräch mit dem Support, denke ich, daß ältere Versionen vielleicht sogar einmal funktioniert haben!? Auf die Frage ob ich mein Gerät downgraden kann, oder in der großen Not mit einem Gerät mit funktionierender Firmware eintauschen, kam schlicht keine Antwort mehr! Praktisch wird nun eines der teuersten Midiinterfaces nutzlos bei mir rumliegen bis Motu seine Hausaufgaben gemacht hat und das Gerät mit den Funktionen auffahren kann mit denen es beworben wird.

Ich werde meinen Bericht ergänzen, falls es je dazu kommen sollte, daß das Gerät nach einem update wirklich funktioniert.
