Jammin' from Home.

The main reason why I bought this one was because I was looking for an affordable amplifier, in which I could jam for hours without annoying my neighbours.

As a practise Amp, it's great. Sound delivers, it's lightweight and small, so no matter you live in a small apartment, you can always hide it, bring it to the bedroom, or place it in as a nice background prop for your Work Videocalls, a Marshall always brings the "Oh, I didn't know you play guitar" reaction from your colleagues.

Don't expect any hifi, detailed sound specs. You need to practise while your wife is in a meeting? You bring it to another room, plug-in your guitar, your pedals and you're ready to go. Love it.

As a side note, I got mine with a horrible noise coming from the Reverb knob, flagged it to customer service from Thomann, and 4 days later I had delivered a new one, working 100%.

Worth every penny!
Mrbd 12.08.2021
I was looking for a practice amp for my harley benton ex tribute series and i originally picked a harley benton 40watts (since my guitar is a harley benton) hahaha but a buddy of mine suggested that i purchase a marshall mg15 amp. I checked its reviews and videos online. Since im on a tight budget, i purchased the marshall MG15GR. This is my first ever marshall. What can i say.

ITS FUCKING LOOOOOOOOUUUD!!! YEAAAH!!!!

Very powerful amp for 15watts. I had to wear a headset so my neighbor downstairs wont get annoyed hahaha.
I also use this as a speaker when i listen to music and when i watch a movie.

If you want a practice amp at home and you are on a tight budget. Go get this one! You wont be disappointed!

P
Very good practice amp
Palimakord 05.01.2023
I bought this on to have a decent sound when I catch some time to play when I am home... I did not expect much, I mean, solid state 15W amp, come on... But, I was really surprised when the sound came out. I tried it on USA Fender strat and they get along quite well. Single coil pick up sounds great on the bridge position. Reverb is ok, not much but it does the trick! Clean sound is quite good, not Fender clean and good, but maybe it is just my subjectivity (I have Fender hot rod deluxe, so mind the bias).
The best feature is aux for smart phone etc. I thought, this feature is just another line on the list of specs and it cannot sound any good... I tried it out, just for the sake of curiosity... I was overwhelmed! It sounds great! You plug in your smartphone, find some decent backing track on youtube, and you are out of excuses! Yes you can jam all you want and feel as if part of the song in background. My wife, could not believe I was playing along, until I stopped playing and she realized, the guitar part is missing! :)
Gain channel is really versatile, it goes from bluesy rock to decent metal sound (like any Marshall should)
I do not like the change in power button and channel switch button, it feels really cheap and I do not know how much money Marshall saved on these two. I liked those robust buttons more (you know what I am thinking...)
The overall quality is ok, I would like to say good, but not quite there... I guess the target price had to be reduced somewhere.

All in all, do buy this amp for home practice and jamming, I am sure you will not regret. After all it is Marshall and will be sold more easily if you want something bigger, louder, keep that in mind as well.

Small amp with big heart!
Jacob1712 30.08.2021
Bought this beast not long ago and it's absolutely amazing. I'm playing mostly rock and metal music genre so I mostly use distortion channel although I used both. Sound is really good and it has that crunchy, powerful sound, especially if you turn it up and you dial that gain past three quarters! Definitely can recommend it for this genre, it really hits that sound that you "want" and it doesnt dissappoint.

Verdict: Highly possibly best amp in this price range, only downside is that you cannot connect pedals to it, but it's understandable considering it's price!
