A blind buy that was worth it!
Stanizlav, 14.12.2016
For the reading faults a preliminary conclusion:

A very good sounding Bluetooth headset with individual design, which is characterized by good operability and long battery life. The sound is designed for modern productions and is not quite linear. The price is reasonable - clear purchase recommendation.

The whole review:

I was looking for Bluetooth headphones and had heard the cable-bound Major from Marshall some time ago with a colleague and was quite pleased with the sound and the good price performance ratio.

Actually, I wanted to buy for this reason the cabled Major 2. When I wanted to order, they were no longer available in the assortment of Thomann. But the Marshall Mid. On the net were a few experience reports in English and French, but still no independent test to be found. The headphones were fresh on the market at the time of my purchase.

I ordered the headphones out of curiosity and am thrilled. The sound is powerful and vibrant, even at low volume. The damping of the outside noise is good despite on-ear designs. The headphones are however not the most linear representatives of their guild. The basses and some frequency ranges in the treble are slightly emphasized. The frequency response is printed in the operating instructions. For my feeling, the Marshall Mid conjure up a very coherent sound picture, which fits in particular to modern productions. I hear mostly alternative rock. But also electronic sounds as well as folk sound really great. A friend of the largest hiphop hears, was also very surprised and done. Unlike the name Marshall suggests, I could imagine that some AC / DC fan or lover of vintage sounds with other headphones will be happier. But this is always known as taste.

The coupling with the smartphone (with me iPhone 7) folds quickly and easily. One button operation is thought through and quickly learned. The 30 hours of operation are not exaggerated.

The processing is top and the headphones look much better for my feeling than the whole futuristic listeners, which one so on the heads of other people sees. The enclosed cables are in the typical Marshall design and make what.

In the beginning I had the feeling that the headphones have pressed something, but what has now laid. Now I feel it as comfortable. The head strap can be adjusted properly. The possibility to fold the handset is very handy. For the price I would have liked however a transport bag.

In conclusion, I can say that I would buy the Marshall Mid again. When Marshall began to develop consumer electronics I was skeptical ... Meanwhile, I think that a company which has been building speakers and amplifiers for 55 years, knows what it is doing. More, they do it damn well :-)
