Pretty good bluetooth headphones, with some issues
AGuitarPlayer, 29.02.2020
I've been looking for some good alternative to the regular In-Ear headphones I've been using, since the cable on those got destroyed pretty regularly after some time of use, making me to constantly buy new ones every once in a while. Because of that reason, I would also often sacrifice the sound quality and ended up buying some cheap ones, because I knew that sooner or later the cable will suffer the same fate, so this time I wanted to buy some headphones with a better sound quality. My predominant usage of the headphones is while I am on the move outside (going to work and back etc), so it was important to me that the new headphones don't isolate the sounds coming from outside; I wanted to be able to hear the traffic and what's happening around me, and the design of the earbuds on the MInor II seemed like a pretty good solution for that particular usage; somewhere in the middle between the two.

Sound: I don't have any issues regarding the sound, it is clear and I think it is pretty good for the price and for my particular purpose. Also, they don't isolate the outside sounds so much, which I like.

Comfort: The headphones are pretty comfortable if your commuting time is about half of an hour, like mine, but if you plan to wear them for about an hour or more, the comfort might become the issue, as some other buyers also ascertained. For me personally that's not a problem, because I rarely wear them for such extent of time, but in those times when I did wear them for longer periods of time I've experienced the pain in my ears and had to take them off because of that. (I didn't experiment, but there is a possibility that the effect might be diminished by readjusting the cable that serves for holding the earbud in place).

Quality: The headphones are pretty well made, but my biggest issue is with the button, which seem to be terribly executed and can become the source of frustration. The button is imagined to be multi-purpose; everything is controlled by it (power on/off, next/previous song, volume up and down, answering calls), but is terribly unreliable. Every once in awhile when you hold the button to power the device on there's nothing happening, so you end up repeating two or three times, reapplying the pressure of the finger wondering did you press too little or too hard before it finally decides to turn itself on, then you try to turn up or down the volume and you end up switching songs, and the switching to previous song back can be fiddly as well, resulting in you reaching for your smartphone or mp3 player and changing songs from there. I don't know why that's the case; is this an issue with all the MInor II headphones or I just was unlucky and got the device with which you need to wrestle to get it to do what you want. The operation like that should be simple, intuitive and easy straight out of the box, which is the exact opposite of the button on these headphones, and that takes away from what would otherwise be very good and reasonably priced bluetooth headphones. Of course; you can end up using the button only for powering the headphones and control the other functions from your streaming device, but that's not the point.

Marshall; solve the comfort and button issues and you'll have yourself a winner!
