Mesa Boogie Rectifier 412 Traditional ST

I use this cabinet to connect to my Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier head (also bought from Thömann) and it is fantastic with its' Celestion Vintage 30 speakers: Crystal clear tone which I would recommend for modern tones more than vintage tones as Celestion makes other speakers that are more suitable for vintage tones but this isn't to say that Vintage 30s cannot produce that vintage sound with the right eq settings and the type of amp!
Also, I love how the wheels at the bottom can be easily removed by simply pressing a button instead of unscrewing them. It is obviously much faster with a simple push of a button. So when the wheels are removed, one is left with the rubber stoppers that grip to the floor.
I leave the wheels on my cabinet on since I have an other slanted Rectifier series cabinet on top of this one which in turn has the head on top of it for a full stack setup. It is therefore easy to move the whole full stack around with the wheels on.
I have no wishes for features that could have been featured on this cabinet. It has everything one needs and I am totally satisfied with it as well as with the shipping service where attention to every detail was given. I will definitely continue ordering from Thömann.

Für mich die wohl bestklingendste Box auf dem Markt. Die Verarbeitung ist Mesa-gewohnt über jedes Urteil erhaben. Der Bezug wirft nirgendwo Falten (auch schon erlebt bei Konkurrenzprodukten), die Schrauben sind sauber gesetzt, wirkt alles sehr souverän.

Großer Pluspunkt sind die abnehmbaren Rollen, was im Bühnenbetrieb das Stapeln sehr erleichtert. Durch die Größe der Rollen ist auch der Transport über etwas unebeneres Gebiet problemlos möglich ohne die über einen Zentner schwere Box hochheben zu müssen (sehr Rückenfreundlich). Die Anschlüsse hinten sind sauber beschriftet und durch 3 kleine Stecker verschlossen, so das immer nur der gebrauchte Anschluss frei ist.

Der Sound ist wie man es erwartet druckvoll. Die Bässe kommen sehr sauber, die Mitten und Höhen sind klar definiert. Durch das etwas größere Gehäusevolumen wirkt der Sound im Vergleich zu anderen 4x12er Boxen aber etwas voluminöser und für mich runder. Probleme kann es aber bei der Abnahme im Studio kommen, hier stellt sich diese Box als etwas wählerisch heraus was die Mikropositionierung angeht. Im Livebetrieb jedoch ist sie unkompliziert. Verwende ein Sennheiser e606, einfach davorgehängt und ab gehts.

Kann diese Box nur weiterempfehlen für alle die die etwas härtere Gangart bevorzugen. Jedoch kann sie auch in weniger Gain-dominierten Gefilden überzeugen!

C'est simple toutes les têtes de marque différentes que j'ai essayées sur ce baffle sonnent beaucoup mieux que sur des baffles Marshall ou d'autres marques beaucoup moins chers !
En effet ce n'est pas parce qu'il y a des celestions vintage 30 dedans que ça revient au même il y a aussi le bois et la qualité de fabrication qui rentre en jeu et la je dois dire chapeau ! En tant que fan incontesté du travail de mesa boogie depuis plusieurs années je n'ai jamais été déçu. Voilà donc encore un parfait bijoux qui vaut son prix et saura satisfaire tous les musiciens, pas forcément métalleux.
