Good addition to music stands
Bowman, 29.05.2018
I bought this for use primarily for places where there is insufficient light to read music.

Very easy to transport, two brightness levels which can be toggled independently on each LED which is really great.

Flexible arms means I can direct the light where ever I need it and can cover a very wide area. I bought this to attach to the Thomann Orchestra music stand which works out really well, with the size of the stand and the flexibility of attaching the light I can easily attach it to the top with no problems for fitting the sheet music below it. If I have irregular sized sheet music I can attach it to the sides and still light everything properly.

One thing to note, which isn't a feature, but something I appreciate is that as the batteries get used up the light will become gradually dimmer over time. This is actually a really useful side benefit as the light won't fail instantaneously while you're out playing and will provide an indication that you should change the batteries soon.

Great for use even on the piano at home which doesn't get moved.

It will continue to be part of my kit for the next few years.

I'm using this for church brass band. I sometimes use it even when there is light in a room to enhance reading accuracy. Otherwise I mostly use where the lighting either does not exist or very poor. I also use it for other purposes when I do not want to disturb others whilst they are asleep. I prefer it for camping since you can clamp it easily. Being a do it yourselves and fixing my car myself, I use them underneath the engine to light difficult to see places by sticking them in. Quite good quality indeed, I bought 2 sets.

Excellent, Lightweight and Bright
GJK123, 08.10.2017
Really excellent light! I am very impressed with this light. The LEDs are very powerful and bright. I clip this onto my music stand and it works just great. It is very portable and lightweight.

Pros
1) The LEDs really light up the whole page. Each lamp has 2 LEDS (so 4 LEDs altogether) You can also turn off one of the LEDs on each lamp to make the light dimmer.
2) The goosenecks have a nice flexibility to them so they can easily be adjusted if you want a different angle of light. .
3) Only noticed recently you can use an adapter instead of batteries, which is a very nice feature to have.
4) Very portable and lightweight.
5) Battery life seems to be very good too.
6) Batteries were also included which is also a plus!

Cons
1) I find the clip good although I wish the grip were a little more powerful. But the good thing about the clip is the tips have some foam padding for extra grip.
2) Build quality feels a bit cheap (especially the plastic housing for the LEDS)

So overall I think it?s a great light and I would definitely recommend it!

Cable tiers is your best friend.
Magnus J., 27.09.2013
I would find the Mighty Bright Duet 2 mighty good if it´s clip actually would hold it to a notestand without secured with cable tiers. No way it will keep in place on the notestand for a full gig without those life savers. I find it stick very well to rackcases though, probably because a case "wall" is much thicker than the plate of the notestand.
In short: Very good light, build is ok, will last a while but not forever. I´m not a friend of the clip.
