Really Heavy Duty for the Price!!!!
Anonymous 07.02.2017
These stands are unbelievably Heavy Duty for the price,
I use these regularly for lights and speakers and if you are looking for a really good and tall stand without breaking the bank, then I would highly recommend these.

It reaches to around 3 meters high which is perfect for most lighting set-ups, and the legs extend very wide for extra stability if you are using a lighting bar with multiple lights.

Wind up function is of very good quality, their is a plastic button to press whilst winding that looks a little cheap, but i've had and used these stands for over 3 years now and even that button is holding strong.

Highly recommended product.

Millenium BLS-2700 Stand
icemangw 06.11.2016
I bought the Millenium BLS-2700 Stand because I need more height for my Stairville Stage TRI LED. I also bought it because the the stand has a crank which means making it easier to wind up. It is of top quality, very stable and sturdy.
When looking at the Stand there is a lot of pro's to the stand but there is also a couple of things you need to be aware of. The stand is heavy thus very study, it is also very long so if you are transporting in a car it will not fit because it will be too long. You need to be transporting it in a van so that is the only disadvantage of the product.

Dissapointed

These have all the makings of a great stand, that is until you put some weight on them (I was lifting around 35Kg) the crank mechanism is very noisy and sounds as though it is going to break any minute, I am not confident that these will last very long at all. The internal crank mechanism is made of plastic and it sounds as though it is chewing itself apart. I suspect I may be returning these broken in the near future but time will tell, I recently bought 4 of the smaller bs-2400 and they had to all be returned because the crank mechanism broke the first time I used them! Major manufacturing problems! Thomann need to sort this one out, because if they get it sorted we will be buying 8 of each, and that's just us!

ME
hard as nails.

Indestructable, the Millenium BLS-2700 is a cheaper alternative to the K&M speaker stand. A solid construction and ease of use make this stand a versatile and cost effective solution to getting your speakers elevated. I use mine for lighting. They act as handy T bar supports which can reach the upper rafters of most concert rooms. The adjustment of the legs makes setting up a breeze as you can usually fit these stands anywhere on a stage and they don't get in the way. The locking switch which allows you to operate the winch handle is a great idea, it stops any potential tampering by the uninitiated who can't figure out how to mess with your stand once it's up. It's all in the knack which you only learn when you own these stands!
