Good stand for the price.

Purchased two of these stands to go on my practice kit and i have to say i am happy as they fulfill their roll. Very adjustable, they go up very high, they are perhaps a bit tall at the minimum setting for my liking, but I've learnt to live with this. On thing to note is that the screw at the top doubles as a cymbal protector and the threaded bit is therefore thinner than most stands and will not take regular wing nuts. Also make sure that you regularly tighten the small screw at the side of each 'level' as this is prone to loosening and falling out and therefore makes the stand swivel around.

Not great.
Timcul 03.01.2023
Ok so it is my fault, I really shouldn't have bought this stand, I was driven by cheap price and thought I would give it a go, it was for my 2nd drum kit, which I use sometimes and was a stand short as I didn't want to strip my studio kit which has little room in the studio.
The stand itself is shiny chrome, so that is a plus, but it is very and I mean very lightweight, the tubing is very thin, I could have used it for a light splash or 14in Crash, but it cymbal felts are very small, cymbal holder is very short and worst of all there is no plastic sleeves to protect cymbals from key holing. I recommend paying the extra for a more heavier stand like the Millenium CB-801 Pro Series Boom Stand with better cymbal felts and plastic protection, I was going to give it a 2 out of 5, but I have found a use for it, I am using it as a tom holder using a universal clamp.
If you can live with it being lightweight and possibility of key holing your cymbals then give it ago, if you hit you cymbals hard and use quality cymbals, pay a little extra for a stand.
Excellent quick service from Thomann as always.

Functional utilitarian stand

What can I say about this really, I bought it together with a 16 paiste crash cymbal and bag.

It's quite heavy and solidly built, it came with the felts and screws it seemed relatively easy to Adjust and set to different heights, the tripod style legs were at a good angle making it very stable, which together with the weight makes sure it is not going to fall over.

It must be quite hardy as I carted it round on a cart with two acoustic guitars a small amp , the cymbal and a mike stand, it was setup outdoors indoors on grass and paving and was no trouble, and assembled and packed away quickly. If you are on a budget it is a no brainer to buy this. I recently sold it to a young lad just starting out drumming and he was very pleased with it and I imagine it will give him many years good service like it did me busking or at local jam nights
