Mojotone in 77er Strat

Eingebaut wurde das Set in eine Fender Strat von 1977 mit maple neck und Tremolo. Da die originalen PUs nicht mehr vorhanden sind und ein Singlecoil-Set eines Boutique-Herstellers nicht das gelbe vom Ei waren, habe ich mich für das Mojotone 67- Set entschieden. Laut der Artikelbeschreibung,sollen die Mojos dem Klang der Grey Bottom Coils (neck und middle) der CBS-Zeit sehr nahe kommen. Würde also gut zu ihr passen....Nach dem das Set, zusammen mit einem 500 k Poti (Volume) ,eingebaut und angeschlossen wurde, stieg die Spannung.........diese PUs haben genau das, was ich gesucht habe. Glockig, perlig der Hals und Mittel PU. Dreckig und rotzig (im positiven Sinne) dagegen der Steg Coil. Die Zwischenpositionen sind der Hammer!
Wunderbar abgestimmt und nahezu frei von Einstrahlung, Brummen, Rauschen etc. Ein top abgestimmtes Singlecoil-Set für einen sehr guten Kurs. Es muß nicht immer hochpreisig sein....
Versand von Thomann ging, wie immer, sehr schnell.
