Monitore von Neumann zu dem Preis? Mit den Eckdaten? Her damit!

Die Monitore selbst überzeugen sofort in jeglicher Hinsicht. Gerade die Staffelung im Bassbereich erstaunt, eben dieses Thema ist heutzutage ja stets neuralgisch. Hat man Material, das unter 40 Hz geht, z.B. Orgel oder auch 5-Saiter Bass, sollte man vielleicht weitere Überlegungen anstellen, wobei man sich dabei zweifellos fragen sollte, wie tief eigentlich eine durchschnittliche Consumer-Anlage kommt.

Diese Monitore machen von Anfang an einen sehr treuen und verlässlichen Eindruck. Richtig gut. Damit kann man arbeiten.

So weit ein Hoch auf Neumann.

Zum Aber: ich bestellte auch gleich das MA-1 dazu (Mikrophone zum Einmessen, Software kann man runterladen), für mich gehört das irgendwie dazu. Und das will nicht, immer wieder "No monitors found". Ich bin vom Fach, wenn ich weder Windows noch Mac mag (was wohl dann?), und die Software sollte die Monitore finden. Tut sie nicht. Schließlich lud ich ein PDF "Version History" runter. Aha, offenbar gibt es noch keinen Support für eben diese Monitore (durchaus auch erkennbar an den IPv6-Adressen der Monitore). Nun gut, dann warte ich halt auf die nächste Version der Software. Ärgerlich ist es trotzdem, schließlich hat mich das Stunden gekostet. Aber Hauptsache Berlin ist sexy.

Bin gespannt, was das MA-1 dann mit den Monitoren macht. Noch besser? Nun gut, nehme ich auch. Noch kann ich mir das schwer vorstellen.
