Beautiful matte finish.

Perfect size for an aging guitar player who played mostly classical for 50 yrs, I am 75 yrs old, 5' 7" and wanted a narrower nut size because of smallish hands and smaller body. I recently had to give up my Godin La Patrie Concert because of mobility issues. I knew I would be giving up some sound quality and volume, but the comfort of this guitar in my lap is worth it. The electronics are fine and I appreciate the accuracy of the tuner and the phaser is practical.
Cons: The description does not give the radius size.... the neck is very flat and not so easy to barr chords or finger stretch if you have very small hands or mobility issues, Thomann approved a return request for me because of this issue. I have decided to keep the guitar because the affordable price and I wll give it to one of my grandchildren who is graduating from high school this year; the sturdy gig bag should help keep it safe for him through whatever adventure lies ahead, also, the Ortega brand is not readily available in Canada, very nice.
One month later: change strings to Ernie Ball normal tension Gold & Black/ball ends, cleaned fretboard, level 3 frets that were high and sand down saddle. So much black came off fretboard with lemon oil I used 2 cloths, beautiful walnut/brownish grain now shows through. Gold & Black strings look sharp and a little lower action makes this more playable. I added a shaped black w/white design and a gold Hummingbird pickgaurd to set it off. Ball end strings easier to put on this bridge [arthritis] and take a few days to stretch out, but seem to be OK and no more buzz after fret leveling and truss rod adjusting to lower the action.

Excellent!

This was my first try at a cutaway classical guitar...love the sound and the slim body.
Tuning holds fine, had to fix the action with was a bit high when I got it, but this only took a moment...the guitar is really fun and comfortable to play with!

A lovely looking instrument with a really nice sound. However the string action is very high and needs some attention.

Many fret dressign issues
SalzGuitar 19.02.2024
Perhaps it's just my guitar but there are many imperfections on this guitar, There are many buzzing sounds on many parts of the fret board,..i was expecting a much better experience with my first Ortega guitar but it's been a disappointment, i'm back to using my cheaper guitar.
