Extremely loud
jojothebandit 28.03.2021
This cymbal is very very loud, it actually surprised me, since most of my cymbals are loud, but I didn't expect it to go through them as it does.
It has an excellent rounded sound, and sounds great when hit very hard but also when played softly.
It is mounted "normally" and has the slope that's excellent for hitting it.
And looks awesome on video :D
Highly recommend

Better than I expected!

Bought this China for use in a really aggressive setting, for which it fit perfectly! Not only Thomann's Customer Service was amazing but the product itself was great. Very aggressive cymbal however controlled. Will cut through all the other instruments and it is versatile enough for use as a crash with a different sound.

Trashy and explosive...

... but not without a softer side.

As is the case with everything in the Paiste RUDE series, this cymbal performs at it's best at full volume. However, you don't need to hit it at full volume to get a sustained, trashy sound out of the cymbal, which makes it great for other forms of rock, not just extreme metal.

Loud
Nick Names 04.09.2017
As the heading states this cymbal has a lot of potential to play loud. But it is also a remarkably soft and pleasingly sounding china, and maybe not as harsh as one might think at first.
It certainly has musical qualities that may be used in various settings when it's played with concideration.
-Surprisingly soft sounding metallic shimmering sound, with long sustain and decay when played soft.
-Highly Explosive when hit with force.
