Cheap, smooth and very good capo.
VitalyG 09.01.2018
Elegant, well-built capo that made out of plastic. This one is really lightweight, feels unnoticeable one the neck yet looks very stylish either on electric or acoustic guitar that makes it so versatile, however it isn't large enough for wider necks. I found that it is also a bit smaller size than ?regular? inexpensive capos.
It so easy and simple to operate with this capo, I just use one hand. The adjustable element let setup the right amount of pressure on the capo to get the strings to ring without any extra stress on the neck or the frets in any position on the fretboard. So you don?t need to retune your guitar. Since it doesn't over stretch the strings with too much tension capo make it easier to keep the strings in tune. This option is what makes big difference between this capo and any other capo in this price range.
Taking into account it affordable and low price combining with good design, lightweight materials and stability this capo is a must if you are in search of one. It is also fits different types of neck profiles which is also great.
The only two disadvantages that I have found is that it is a bit short for my seven string guitar (it touches first string just a while but make no problems if it hits lightly) and five string bass. The second one is that the screw has no stop on it so you can actually back it out all the way on accident and lose it. That not so big disadvantage but this is only thing you should be aware of.

Very low price, very light weight and fully adjustable to prevent tuning problems
Anonymous 02.03.2014
I have owned 3 or 4 various capos over the years. When I opened this one from it's packaging I was horrified to read that it was made from a type of plastic. I immediately thought it could only snap and break apart when exerting pressure onto the fingerboard. But so far I have to say it's been very durable and I especially like the fact that you can adjust (in micro increments) the pressure it applies -and this really does prevent the tuning going sharp when fitted. The light weight is a great thing too: it doesn't unbalance your guitar and create neck dive. If this plastic capo holds up (it's made from a special thermoplastic -not just off the shelf plastic) then this is a total bargain. Then again, If it only lasts a few years....it will still be a bargain at this price! Ned Steinberger invented this capo and his influence on the music industry is, and has been phenomenal. Keep in mind this capo is radiused, so electric and acoustics must have a matching fingerboard radius. This model would not work adequately on a nylon acoustic as they generally have flat, unradiused fingerboards and it would therefore be impossible to exert an even pressure across all 6 stings with this unit.

It is great

It looks good, it is discret, and it is a good capo. The only downside is that it takes longer to install and uninstall because of the way it locks is through some kind of screw.
