Broadcasting!
In search for a replacement of our old large-diaphragm studio microphones we compared this (Presonus PD-70) and the very similar Shure SM7B (among others). And although many reviews mention the SM7B's neutral sound quality, we can't confirm that. The SM7B boosts low frequencies and makes voices sound warmer. The PD-70 is clearer and leaves voices as they are - at least to our ears. Will order three more for our radio studio.

Amazing product!
I love the look and sound of the Shure SM7B (of course) but its too expensive for me. But this is the ultimate compromise. The sound quality is amazing, it's nice and heavy, and the price is not as hefty as the OG. I use it to game and randoms always ask me if i stream because the way my voice sounds is professional, and its mostly thanks to this beauty. I surely recommend this to anyone, even who is considering a SM7B

High quality broadcast mic for a very reasonable price
Absolutely delighted with the PD-70 . The sound is very smooth and balanced with a nice crisp detailed high end.
The frequency curve really gives great clarity with just the right amount of low end roll off, a flat and even mid range and a slight high end presence boost which is ideal for giving a little extra detail to speech. And the noise floor is extremely low, even with the gain almost full on my interface or mixing desk , there is barely any audible hiss.
The build quality is excellent, it's sturdy and the half yoke mount is solid but saves a little weight. It balances on a spring loaded boom arm perfectly. It stays exactly where you put it.
The included windscreen is perfect for reducing pops and it's a nice addition that you don't always get with mics in this price range.
All in all I highly recommend this mic. I can't think of any negatives at all.

Great Mic For The Price!
This is a great microphone for the price, it is built like an absolute tank.
The Microphone has a very nice and clear sound but has less low end than I expected.
It has a few cons, mainly the fact it lacks features such as onboard filters, etc. For this price however, I didn't expect them. Secondly, the foam windscreen is a bit thin for my liking but does the job.
In conclusion, this Microphone is excellent and can be used for guitar, podcasts and vocals in a pinch too.

Solid product
At this price point you can't really go wrong with this microphone. It's not a Shure but it has its own character. It's built like a tank and the included software is a pleasant surprise.
